Its been a long time coming!! Please join me in welcoming April!! She will specialize in nails and deshed full grooms for dogs who would like nice full groom served with a side of snuggling. It is great to work alongside someone with such a natural ease for the job she does for the ones she does it for. Welcome aboard!! The rest of us feel blessed to have you.

Here is our first "from nails to tails" helpful hint for July. These work awesome and we have been using them for years. Happy 4th of July to all and thank you all for your support and outpouring of well wishes and great thoughts sent our way. We feel very blessed.

Yay!! She is in recovery!! No new stent needed but some ballooning was successfully done. She is resting nicely. The Dr's , nurses and staff have all been amazing. Thank you all for the one on ones with God and and the good vibes sent our way. We are surrounded by tons of love and she can feel it. Should be going home tomorrow morning.

First, thank you to all of you who either acknowledged or commented on my last post. The amount of love and support for what is done here at my tiny shop was amazing and I appreciate each one of you for taking time to read it . I know it was lengthy. Here is an update on the progress made this weekend.
Saturday was my 57th birthday and I spent the first 6 hours of it preparing papers for the Attorney General's office if they are required. This morning was another 6 hours gathering the rest of it. Any one who knows me knows I am a planner.. So having spent this weekend accumulating facts and details, I believe we are ready for battle.
Again thank you to everyone for reminding me that this business is worth fighting for and I will do my best to protect it.
Thank you Chelsea for working so hard in the scheduling book day to day and year to year. I don't know how you keep it straight but you are amazing with it. Thank you to my son and his family for calling and checking to see how we were doing under the pressure. Your love, support and prayers help keep us strong and working. Most of all thank you Dan for working endlessly this weekend not just with all the data collection and letters to be written but putting in a security system to keep all safe.
Tomorrow is a new day and I am ready to get back to work. Thank you everyone!!

So here it is.. my first negative post... I will tell you I love my job and I serve amazing clients. But someone has vowed that if their demands are not met they will come to this page and shred it with their distain and hostility. So imagine if you will this scenario.
I work as a groomer and to keep things safe and as timely as I can there are rules I ask people to follow.
Back in October 2021 there was a situation where someone brought their dogs to me and told us they were going somewhere and they would be back at a certain time. Well, they were not. In fact they were not close. It caused us to start telling people that if they knew they were going to be late .. to please let us know so we could plan accordingly. I am not a daycare so my space is limited especially if someone's dog is not other dog friendly.
From that time on if all dogs in this family were full groom they could stay together no problem but if the first two were only having nails done then the parents where directed to take their two dogs home and the third dog could have his groom done being the only one here. It seemed to be fine up until last week. The 3 dogs were brought in one for a full groom and the other 2 for nails. I was asked if the other two could stay so the pet parent could get gas as she did not want them to stay in the car. I agreed that she could go and I would do the two dogs nails and they would be ready when she returned. She asked if the other one would be done in an hour and replied that I can't do him in an hour but asked for him to stay until 10:45. she agreed and left. She never came back until 10:45 which after getting gas she should have returned to get the other two, or if she would have given me 10 minutes they could have gone back home with her. There seemed to be no problem when I said I will see you in about 10 minutes when she left.
I finished the full groom early so I texted her to let her know. I told her in the text I'm not sure what happened but hope she was okay and they were all ready.
I charged her a regular fee for her groom and charged her for the two dogs nails being done. I tried to contact her both be voicemail and texting to which she would not reply. I reminded her as I have everyone when they drop off their dogs that if you do not schedule their having to stay here I charge a fee for it. I have other clients coming and need them to be able to come in safely. I charged a sitting fee for only the two she left with no warning that she wasn't returning.
When she return she gave me the 120 I asked for and threw 10 dollars down saying that was my tip and then threw 90 dollars more down and turned in disgust and left. Later that day she texted me starting with her disgust and threats. I had already packed the 100 dollars in an envelope and was on my way to go down a nail run and dropped in the mail. Now I receive threating text messages just about everyday from her where she is allowed to verbal vomit and comments are don't contact me., which I have not since the day she left. She has accused of needing mental help and that I am a bully..She has told me she is prepared to go to the Attorney General with her complaints if her demands are not met, all because she is not allowed to drop her dogs at her leisure and run without even the slightest consideration of asking "do you mind if I leave them here for the entire time?" So there it is.. sad but true. So now you know the rest of the story.

This is my very beautiful friend Liberty. She is 1 years old and seeking a family to take her home . She is beautiful both inside and out. Ideally she would love if her new family had a good sized yard that they could play in. She is an Anatolian shepherd.
