So here it is.. my first negative post... I will tell you I love my job and I serve amazing clients. But someone has vowed that if their demands are not met they will come to this page and shred it with their distain and hostility. So imagine if you will this scenario.
I work as a groomer and to keep things safe and as timely as I can there are rules I ask people to follow.
Back in October 2021 there was a situation where someone brought their dogs to me and told us they were going somewhere and they would be back at a certain time. Well, they were not. In fact they were not close. It caused us to start telling people that if they knew they were going to be late .. to please let us know so we could plan accordingly. I am not a daycare so my space is limited especially if someone's dog is not other dog friendly.
From that time on if all dogs in this family were full groom they could stay together no problem but if the first two were only having nails done then the parents where directed to take their two dogs home and the third dog could have his groom done being the only one here. It seemed to be fine up until last week. The 3 dogs were brought in one for a full groom and the other 2 for nails. I was asked if the other two could stay so the pet parent could get gas as she did not want them to stay in the car. I agreed that she could go and I would do the two dogs nails and they would be ready when she returned. She asked if the other one would be done in an hour and replied that I can't do him in an hour but asked for him to stay until 10:45. she agreed and left. She never came back until 10:45 which after getting gas she should have returned to get the other two, or if she would have given me 10 minutes they could have gone back home with her. There seemed to be no problem when I said I will see you in about 10 minutes when she left.
I finished the full groom early so I texted her to let her know. I told her in the text I'm not sure what happened but hope she was okay and they were all ready.
I charged her a regular fee for her groom and charged her for the two dogs nails being done. I tried to contact her both be voicemail and texting to which she would not reply. I reminded her as I have everyone when they drop off their dogs that if you do not schedule their having to stay here I charge a fee for it. I have other clients coming and need them to be able to come in safely. I charged a sitting fee for only the two she left with no warning that she wasn't returning.
When she return she gave me the 120 I asked for and threw 10 dollars down saying that was my tip and then threw 90 dollars more down and turned in disgust and left. Later that day she texted me starting with her disgust and threats. I had already packed the 100 dollars in an envelope and was on my way to go down a nail run and dropped in the mail. Now I receive threating text messages just about everyday from her where she is allowed to verbal vomit and comments are don't contact me., which I have not since the day she left. She has accused of needing mental help and that I am a bully..She has told me she is prepared to go to the Attorney General with her complaints if her demands are not met, all because she is not allowed to drop her dogs at her leisure and run without even the slightest consideration of asking "do you mind if I leave them here for the entire time?" So there it is.. sad but true. So now you know the rest of the story.
