Adorable Callie (formerly Alys) is back with me after a wonderful time with the most lovely family. Callie is from the American Gods litter (Trudeau x Bo) from December 2020, The Keep The Winter Child.

Agnes (left) and Parker (jumping) have left my home this week to go to loving new homes where they can be spoiled rotten as individuals instead of just one of the pack.

It's difficult to let go of puppies you've brought on in hopes of adding them to your breeding program - you get to know and love them, all their little quirks and soft spots - but I am so appreciative of the families who want to welcome an older dog into their homes.

Divvy looks so innocent as she checks my location to see if I'm close enough to stop her from grabbing a pillow and running. Note that 2 minutes later the pillows were safe in a drawer and Divvy had an appropriate pacifier. :-) (Also, my bay tree is growing!!)

Quick announcement: due to some personal goals and obligations this spring I have changed my breeding plan. I was originally hoping for a litter from Letty this spring but am aiming for fall instead. I have several applications in my inbox and will be responding to you individually. In the meantime, enjoy this pic of Letty and David playing in the mud!

So excited to have the cabinets installed in the (soon to be) dog room. They look amazing, and the decorative cling film my niece helped me put on the windows is beautiful. Next step is the countertop (backordered, ugh!) and sink, then painting and moving ALLLLLL the dog equipment downstairs.

CRK is proud to announce the addition of the ugliest Pomeranian but the most gorgeous American Staffordshire Terrier - Irresistibull's Divine Nonchalance!

Divvy is entered in her first show in November and I'm so excited!

(No) Upcoming Litter Announcement:
It looks like Letty and Lassiter did not have a successful breeding for this fall and we will NOT be having a litter in October. I am hanging on to applications that have come in for this pairing and will follow up when Letty comes in heat again.

Very excited to announce that Letty (Moss Meadows Clown College Collette) received her CHIC certificate yesterday with excellent results for heart, hips and eyes. Her patellas graded a bilateral 2 but I'll take it! Thanks to both my vet and the clinic in Winston-Salem last weekend!

The puppies had a great vet visit yesterday - all well. Mio (formerly Butch) cried a lot about his microchip and Daphne (formerly Bird) was happy to skip that particular procedure because she's still too little. When they came home, we went low-tech with a cardboard wine separator. Chai (formerly Hershey) wasn't interested at first but eventually gave in to peer pressure :-)

Good morning folks! This morning I noticed that another Pomeranian breeder has been linking to this page and I have removed the posts. This breeder - Amanda's Poms - is not someone I recommend, primarily because I don't know her or anything about her program.

Those of you who know me know I'm more than happy to support other breeders who have the same values & ethics as mine. I often refer potential buyers to someone else if I don't have what they're looking for, and I'll continue to do that. I've never met the person behind Amanda's Poms so other than the poor judgment of advertising her services on the page of another business I don't have any comments. Just wanted to provide some clarity that this is not a breeder I endorse.

Did a short video with the Leverage litter including a cameo of lovely Alys from last year's American Gods litter. Alys is available to the right pet home. This litter has been so much fun - I'm really enjoying them.

Not the best video quality but wanted to share the puppies having some fun. And yes, my kitchen table does double as a supplies counter during "puppy season." :-)

The Keep is proud to announce that Miss Letty (aka Moss Meadows Clown College Collette, aka Lettuce, aka Side Salad) has started her OFA testing with good hip, patella and heart results! She'll finish out testing for her CHIC number in September with the eye exam but based on her DNA testing I'm not expecting any surprises. Hoping for a litter from her this fall!

The Leverage litter had a big adventure yesterday, going outside for the first time. No pictures of that because even with Tully on duty I was scanning the sky for birds of prey.

Today's new thing is the puppy walk, with a little bit of positive demonstration from Alys.

Yesterday puppies got a bath and a pen expansion, as well as a couple of new objects to experience. Birdie immediately claimed the tunnel but had to share when her sibs got sleepy. All the girls made it in and left Butch on the outside but he made do with the texture disc.

This is gorgeous Alys from my December 2020 litter. I kept her and her sister, Agnes, but as she's grown realized she's not what I'm looking for in my program. She'll make a great addition to a pet home. She's not in full coat (this line develops slowly) but you can see her nice structure. She also has the "easy care" coat that rarely mats. She was raised with Puppy Culture protocols and is a lovely little dog. PM me with questions.

The puppies are growing up so fast! They've reached a few milestones: pottying away from the nest, eating both soft food and kibble, and asking for attention. A couple are a little more precocious about demanding attention . . . (I'm looking at you, Butch!) and all are just a delight!
