Hello, friends!

We just finished Nezuko's yearly OFA eyes exam and took her to the pet store to pick out some treats. She was a good girl while being examined.

We are full steam ahead on for her first litter! If you have already emailed us about this litter, please send a followup email. If you are new and want more regarding this litter, please email us at

From there, you will be given a questionnaire so we can learn more about you.

We expect all red puppies and go home date will be around Spring 2024.

Thank you for your continued support on our kennel! At this time, we are still set for a breeding in the Winter, which means pups will go home in the April of next year. As a reminder, we expect all red puppies with no possibility of long coat.

We are proud to announce that Nezuko received an OFA CHIC number! We take health very seriously so we are so happy our girl can be added to the OFA database of Japanese Akitainu.

Nezuko will be bred in the Winter and will expect all red puppies. Sire will be announced soon!

In the meantime, we hope to put a few more titles on our best girl.

We are delighted to announce that Nezuko passed her OFA eye exam.

We will be scheduling her OFA thyroid exam next, in hope to get a CHIC number.

Last Saturday was a busy day. We were honored to help represent JACA (our breed club) and the breed at the AKC Meet the Breed event. Nezuko loved everyone! We are very proud of her temperament.

In addition to meeting everyone and being a great breed ambassador, Nezuko was health tested for eyes and hips on the very same day. She passed eyes and we are waiting for the official results for hips. The x-rays look great but we want to make sure with official results.

If she passes all her health testing, we are hoping to breed her next Spring.

We are Nao and Rio, two identical twin sisters who have a passion for the Japanese Akitainu. We have been involved in the breed for about six years and continue to learn every day about this amazing breed.
