I'm not sure if I have publicly shared here, but my sweet Romeo was adopted about six weeks ago. He is doing absolutely amazing in his new home!! He has a fur brother and 4 fur cat siblings. The cats all love him!!
Romeo also has discovered comfy pajamas and won't let his momma take them off now that it's cold outside 🐾💙

It is with a broken heart that I share Angela Heim has passed. Angela was a special angel to Finn and Team Finn. She was one of his biggest supporters. She was always sending him special gifts and checking in on me as well. We developed a very sweet Facebook relationship. I wish I had been able to meet Angela in "real life". She was an inspiration in her devotion to not only rotties, but all rescue and shelter animals.
My deepest condolences to her family. Give Finn a big hug and kiss for me Angela ♥️

Romeo had a little cosmetic surgery today. He had entropion. His eyelashes were facing inwards and rubbing on his eyes causing scratches and ulcers.
He's resting comfortably now and happy with his pain medication 💙

Today marks one year that our boy, Finn has been gone. I know he's happy, healthy, and free now. My heart still carries the ache of not being able to help him more, but I know he is with me everyday 💙

RESCUE EXPLAINED........

“The neglect changes you.
The abuse hardens you.
The suffering breaks you.
The ignorance angers you.
The indifference disturbs you.
The injustice destroys you.
On a daily basis…your faith will be tested.
Your heart will be wounded….

And as you look back…

For them… and because of them.

In those moments, when you look into their eyes…every doubt will be erased.

“Every bit of pain was worth it…for this moment here with you.”
