I need advice. Any of your dogs had urethral prolapse? If yes how that goes way?
So my little boy Oscar have it since monday night. Tuesday we have go to the vet but she was not sure what it was,(its not something very common) so give him some painkillers and send us home, told us to go back with him Wednesday morning.
So Wednesday morning they have done a little surgery to put some stitching in place and we come home, Friday 9h30 we was there to check it but the stitchs have disappeared and all back to zero.
Now the vet give us a lot of meds for him to take until Tuesday, she said in the last 10years the meds have work with no need of surgery but if the meds don't work he will need to be referral and go to surgery (surgery that the insurance will not pay... 🙄 will have to sell a few bikes... ).
So any of you have pass for it? It's heartbreaking see him in pain, he dont complain but we can see when the meds stop and he starts in pain.
Any vet that can warm-up my heart? 💔

I'm OK 🐾🤎 still in pain, still can't wee normally, but I'm will be ok. What I ahve was prolapse.Now only can do is rest...

I'm OK 🐾🤎 still in pain, still can't wee normally, but I'm will be ok. What I ahve was prolapse.
Now only can do is rest to get well soon with my favourite toy. Tomorrow vet again at 9h30am hopefully they will say I'm getting better.

Mummy was crying, she didn't know what to do 🐾 Thank God my vets take me in, I'm OK now, have had a little surgery, it's hurts when I p*e, I cry out loud scaring again my mummy but all gona be OK.
