Our final visitor to the bunny room was gorgeous Woody. He was a treat to have and we miss him already. It will be very strange packing away the toys and bits and pieces tonight for the last time.
It has been truly wonderful to welcome so many little cottontails into our home.

We would like to thank our loyal customers who we now consider friends, for entrusting us to look after their precious pets over the last few years.

We look forward to returning in the future and hopefully seeing some familiar faces.

Here are a few of the guests we have looked after at Country Bunkins recently. We have been super busy and we are fully booked for the summer too.
For those of you that don’t know, we are not taking any bookings for boarders from September. Our growing family means that we need more space at the moment but we do plan to come back, bigger and better in the future ❤️❤️❤️

We recently had the beautiful Treacle and Toffee here to stay in the bunny room.
They are regulars to us now, we got in their favourite veggies and treats. They love rummaging in their hay rack for the treats hidden in there! Complete softies, these two love nothing more than some human company. Sitting on the floor, they would often hop over for a love before showing off with a race around the room 🥰😍🐰🐰###x

Ahh these popped up in my memories today 🥲 When I got my own house, these 2 moved in before we did ☺️ Moo (b&w bun) and Boo (white bun) Moo was an unwanted pet in her later years and Boo had been in a rescue centre for a very long time due to ongoing health issues.
They both bonded so well and were best of friends. I was lucky enough to have them for many years.

We had the pleasure of looking after these 2 lovelies. Anya is the black cat and Curtis is the tabby. They are in their later years now, so their owner thought it might be better they stayed in their familiar home rather than go to a cattery.
I visited twice a day, to feed them, clean them out and of course give lots of fuss and attention. They were soo friendly and it was a joy to see them settled and happy at home. 🐈‍⬛🐈‍⬛💗💙

Blu came to stay with us for half term. The cutest bun, he loves the camera and was happy to pose all night long 😆 super friendly, he loved his fusses and was very chilled as you can see. We are looking forward to seeing him again soon ###

🐾 Christmas shoebox appeal 🐾

Please help make Christmas a bit happier for a homeless animal this year

Shoeboxes can be filled with any food, treats, toys etc for any animal. Please just pop a label on the box so we know who to take it to e.g. rabbit, dog, cat, bird, hedgehog, guinea pig, chicken etc

You can pop your shoeboxes in to us at Boley Park Community Hall, Lichfield this Sunday between 1pm and 5pm or contact us to collect from you

Look who’s here!! Molly arrived safe and sound on the 15th October. Weighing in at a hefty 9lb7.

Our final booking of summer 2021 was the one and only Ronnie! Back to his second home, he is such a relaxed and easy going bun. Loves his fuss and having a nose about the shed. Only with us for a few days this time but still a gorgeous end to what has been a wonderful summer looking after your bunnies and piggies. ❤️❤️❤️###

Who remembers these cheeky 2?
We were delighted to have Blizzard and Nevis come to stay for a whole 3 weeks in August 💙 they stayed in the bunny shed and the bunny room and took everything completely in their stride. As long as they are together, nothing fazes these boys!
Fun fact, these 2 would rather eat hay than veggies! They turned their little noses up at all I had to offer, apart from boring grass!! I’m told by their owner that they’ve always been the same 😆
They really made me laugh with their zooms and games, always frolicking and happy. It was a sad farewell when it was time to go home ###

So this little cutie is called Smurf 😀 we had the pleasure of looking after him for a week and what can I say? He is fast!! As soon as you go in the room, Smurf does not stop doing zoomies 😆
I managed to get a few pics where he came to a stop for a moment, before he was off again! Sneaking up to the bunny room window, I did catch Smurf flaked out on the rug a few times, obviously catching up on some much needed rest.
A lovely, friendly boy, Smurf can’t help but make you smile as he larks about. We look forward to welcoming him back for his holidays next year ###x

We had the one and only Ronnie back to stay with us for 10 days. Hard to forget this cheeky face. He loves nothing more than zoomies around the bunny shed. He certainly kept us entertained and we think he took a shine to one of the females in the penthouse, little flirt! Gorgeous and golden as always, we look forward to Ronron coming back to us later this month ###

We had the gorgeous George and Lyla come to stay with us for 2 weeks at the end of July. Such an adorable couple.
George is a complete rock star, a confident chappy with a wild hair do! Lyla is a little more reserved, it took a little while to gain her trust but she was soon eating out of my hand and hopping over for a fuss. She is sooo pretty!
This pair spent a week in the bunny room and a week in the bunny shed. They settled so well. They seemed to love the space to hop about in the bunny room and also enjoyed having the breeze in their hair, sunbathing on their outdoor balcony in the shed. They became part of the family and it was hard to say goodbye! ###🐰🐰💕💕💕

We’ve had quite a few enquiries this week asking for bookings… it has been overwhelming to hear your fabulous comments on our set ups ⭐️
It’s so hard turning people away, so I wanted to let you know we are fully booked for the rest of this month, all of August and taking no more bookings for September or October 👶🏼
If you have any holidays planned over Christmas or next year then please let me know and we will get you booked in.
