[Update] When we first met Remy, he had babesia, a tick-borne disease caused by several Babesia organisms that invade and attack red blood cells. However, under our care and after months of treatment, he fought it valiantly. He cleared three rounds of testing, showing negative results, and we believed he was ready for international adoption. We completed all his paperwork and booked his flight. Unfortunately, he began experiencing symptoms such as a purple tongue, severe diarrhea, and extreme weakness. After numerous tests and consultations with various doctors and specialists, they determined that he needs close monitoring and will only be available for domestic adoption. After Yeoruem’s unexpected vet visit, we have realized that having emergency funds our key. That’s why we’re going to try out a new fun fundraising idea! Here’s all the details:

2. Send in a March themed photo by e-mail or DM by March 20th. You can send in any pet and can send group or individual photos. One entry per pet.

3. On March 21st, we will post all the photos with a polling option on Instagram. Voting will be open until March 28th.

4. If there is a tie, we will have a sudden death vote off on March 29th in our Instagram stories to decide the winner.

5. The winner will be announced on March 30th!
The prize? The owner of the winning photo can choose either 25% from the total donations collected, with the other 75% going to the rescue or a mystery prize.

Our pet therapy team had the pleasure of visiting GSIS International School in Suwon to connect with middle and high school students, shedding light on the importance of mental health awareness. 🌟 They discovered the wonders of pet therapy firsthand, learning how specially trained dogs work their magic to melt away stress and bring smiles to faces. 🐶✨ Huge thanks to GSIS for inviting us and for a day filled with laughter and learning! 🙌

Pending final approval at today’s plenary session, enforcement is set to begin in 2027. Although a three-year journey lies ahead, this victory offers hope to end the suffering, torture, and enslavement of dogs. One step closer. 어제 1월 8일, 드디어 국회 법제사법위원회 전체회의에서 ’개식용 종식 특별법‘이 통과됐습니다. 오눌 본회의에서도 특별법이 통과된다면 우리나라는 마침내 ”개식용 없는 대한민국“이 됩니다.

비록 특별법이 통과되더라도 사육·도살·유통 등의 금지와 처벌 조항은 3년 유예 기간을 갖게 되지만, 일단 오늘만큼은 우리 모두가 염원하던 ’개식용 없는 대한민국‘까지 마지막 한걸음 남았다는 사실을 알리며 함께 기뻐하고 싶습니다.

이 기쁜 소식을 알리는 순간에도 어디선가 도살되고 있거나, 도살을 기다리고 있거나, 이미 도살된 수많은 아이들이 있습니다. 그 아이들을 위해 내일 본회의 통과 소식을 간절히 바라며 위액트는 계속 ACT하겠습니다. ACT WITH US!

🐾 **Urgent Appeal: Foster/Adopter Needed for REMY 🐕✨**

Hey there, I’m REMY, a resilient 3-5-year-old boy who’s seeking a second chance at a furever home. Surrendered twice, I’ve overcome babesia with blood transfusions and battled a stressful life in the shelter.

A heartwarming encounter with Clinger led me to recovery at Juno’s training center after fainting for the third time at the shelter. I’ve recently tested negative and am ready for adoption, but being a husky in Korea poses challenges.

As my time at the center nears its end, I’m reaching out to all to help me avoid going back to the cold, loud shelter. Can you be the one to open your heart and home to me or help me find someone who will?🥺

✨ I’m a great companion, getting along with big and small dogs, loving training and having a job. I’m a good listener, enjoy eating, and have mastered leash manners.
