Stúdent is a red dun tobiano Icelandic stallion with a snip. He was born on May 28, 2010. He is the first prized grandson of Orri frá Þúfu í Landeyjum and Álfadís frá Selfossi, who both won honor prize for offspring. His father is Álffinnur frá Syðri-Gegnishólum who also won honor prize for his offspring. On all nine of Stúdent's assessments, he has gotten first prized with his score of 8.59, making him the highest assessed Icelandic stallion in America with only 271 higher assessed stallions in the world out of 80,000 or more horses. Also, Stúdent came from Gangmyllan, a breeding farm in Iceland that won best breeding farm of the year multiple times.

Stúdent has a sweet, loveable personality and will follow people around, begging for attention. He is also smart and playful, and loves being around people. Stúdent is 146 cm tall and he has a strong back, lots of hair, a nice expression, and sturdy legs. He passes his good temperament, height, sweet personality, sturdy legs, and good conformation to his offspring.

Stúdent is very fast and loves to race, but he is gentle and his main priority is taking care of his rider. He can be both an amazing kids ba****ck horse and a pace racer, depending on who is riding him and what they are asking him to do. Stúdent has an incredibly smooth tölt (9) that he can do at a wide range of speeds. Stúdent also has an outstanding, fast, ground covering walk (9.5) that seems effortless for him, but is fun to ride. He takes long strides and covers lots of ground. His gallop (8.5) and pace (9) are also very fast and smooth to ride. Overall, he doesn't have any weak gaits and all of his gaits are fast, smooth, and fun. When we got him, his BLUP was 117, but because of Worldfengur updates and the fact that he doesn't have any assessed offspring, it has dropped.

Stúdent and his offspring are perfect all around horses. Stúdent's great temperament and athletic ability allows him to excel at multiple disciplines and be a great horse for almost all riders. He is calm and safe enough to be a kids horse, but fast, enthusiastic, and powerful enough to be a pace racer. He responds to commands almost instantly and learns fast. Stúdent has good self carriage and is very soft in the mouth with collected, smooth gaits that have a wide range of speed.

To top off all this, he is a red dun tobiano, which is an unusual color. Stúdent's tail is light red with a dark red line going down the back with white, silver, and blue/gray underneath. His mane is pale red streaked with white while his forelock is a more solid red. Stúdent's face is a shade of red that could be mistaken for a chestnut, but he lightens along his neck and the red dun patches on his body are pale red (almost tinted pinkish) and he has a bold, liver chestnut colored dorsal stripe running down his back and through his tail. Stúdent has light brown eyes that appear golden in some light and has soft, silky fur that has lots of sheen after he is brushed thoroughly or bathed.

Frökk is my five gaited black nd1 mare who was born in 2013. She is from Kvistir farm and was exported from Iceland in the late summer to early fall of 2018. Frökk is first prized and scored 8.11 on her five year old assessment and the BLUP score of 118. Frökk is 14 hands at the withers and her best gaits are her trot and tölt.

She has an intelligent, aloof personality, but is affectionate with people she knows. Frökk has remarkably sleek, soft fur and a more refined build then most Icelandics.
