ng routine care due to their fear of traditional in-clinic vet visits. We know that most cats are fearful of the in-clinic veterinary experience, and this is an understandable barrier to care. While we can never completely eliminate fear, anxiety, or stress, our Fear Free certified team members strive to ensure the most calm and respectful experience as we care for your kitties at home where they feel the most safe. Our services include vaccinations, testing, preventative care, integrative medicine, Solensia injections, select sick appointments, and case management. Happy Halloween 👻 🎃!! Today was such a fun day. Our client Maria surprised us with treats during our visit to see Miss Jasmine 🍬, Casa de Tranquil Tabby got wayyyyy more trick or treaters than last year and was a full-size candy bar household, and our friend and classmate, Dr. Dewey, is visiting from New York shadowing the mobile cat vet life. The weather is changing, the leaves are turning, and we continue to get to help our patients into the new season. Things are lovely from our view 🍁 🐈 ♥️

Today we said goodbye to Max.

Max was one of our original patients from the early days of Tranquil Tabby. When we met, Max had a long history of telling vets exactly how he felt in the form of his razor claws and teeth. And he certainly gave us a run for our money the first several visits! Over time, however, Maxie softened to us and became accustomed to our monthly Solensia visits. Some days, it even felt like he was happy to see us.

We loved Max so much, and his family is so incredible and supported his health needs so well in the last several years. No one was ready to say goodbye to Max, but it was his time. It feels like we said goodbye to an icon today, and we will miss Max dearly.

It truly is an honor to provide end of life care to our patients and their families, but it hits so much harder than it used to when our team worked in brick and mortar clinics. We know our people and kitties so well now, everyone feels like family. Saying goodbye is so hard because all of our patients feel like our own. But this is why Tranquil Tabby was started - to provide a different level of care to kitties, especially the fearful ones, including at the end of their lives. We’re so grateful to be trusted during their final transition. ♥️
