The lovely Mou returning to her colony today. 😻
We mentioned in our last post that some climbers who are frequent visitors here, captured her and 5 others for neutering in November, funded by our project. Mou was part of them!
Just as these kind people were leaving the island a few weeks ago, they noticed Mou's wound had become infected 🤕, and so asked if she could stay with one of the KCP volunteers for a while.
She was quite nervous at first, but became really affectionate, and very playful. She had oral and topical antibiotics and soon recovered.
The Kalymnos Cat Project kindly contributed to her treatment and boarding costs 🙏😻💕 : the costs are about 130€ (sterilization, antibiotics, food, litter..).

Thanks for her 😻
✨ Look at this little sweetheart! ✨
This adorable kitten is one of the many cats we've helped through the Kalymnos Cat Project 🐾💛
While this cutie still calls the streets of Kalymnos home, we’ve been working tirelessly to care for the island’s stray cats—through feeding 🥓, medical care 👩🏼⚕️, and sterilization programs to ensure a healthier future for them all.
Every life matters, and your support helps us make a real difference. Want to help? Follow us, share our mission, or consider donating to support our ongoing efforts. Together, we can give Kalymnos’ cats a better tomorrow. 💕

Patience and persistence are essential in TNR! 🙏🏼🐾 Watch as Leslie tries to trap this clever kitty 🐱 who just won’t step on the pedal! After a few attempts, success finally comes 😁. This is all part of the process when working to care for community cats. On the first day of this TNR week, we managed to trap and neuter 39 cats 👏🏻! Each one brings us closer to a healthier, more sustainable community. ➡️ Don’t hesitate to donate if you can, one sterilization costs around 50€ so your support is really appreciated: https://donorbox.org/kalymnos-cat-project - thanks 🩷

Help Us Save a Little Kitten in Kalymnos! 🙏🏼
We’ve recently been alerted 🚨 by several concerned tourists about a stray kitten in Kalymnos with what appears to be a broken front leg 😢. Our dedicated volunteers went out multiple times, trying to locate the kitten, and after several attempts, they finally managed to find and rescue him.
The kitten will soon be examined by a veterinarian 👩🏼⚕️, and once his leg is healed, we will be looking for a loving family to adopt him ❤️.
➡️ In the meantime, we are in urgent need of donations to continue providing care, treatment, and sterilization for the many stray cats of Kalymnos. Your support is crucial in helping us give these cats a better future: https://donorbox.org/kalymnos-cat-project
We will keep everyone updated on the kitten’s recovery and progress. Thank you for your continued support! 🙏🏼
Thanks to our amazing team of volunteers from Switzerland and Germany, 3 cats left the island for their forever home 🥰🥰
2 kittens and 1 adult were adopted : Stella, Sky and Bichette 🐱
They are so lucky 🍀 they will have a so much better life than in the streets of Kalymnos… 🇬🇷
Other adoptions are ongoing, and Leslie will also come back to France with several kittens/adults in November. We hope to find families for them quickly 😍
➡️ Don’t hesitate to make a donation to help us preparing the cats (vet cares, vaccines, passport…) and continuing our TNR work : https://donorbox.org/kalymnos-cat-project
Thanks for them 🙏🏼

This is Stalas ! 🐱He used to live on the Kalymnos island, near Masouri 🇬🇷But he is so lucky, a very nice family from Spain felt in love with him, and decided to adopt him and take him back to Spain 😻Now, Stalas enjoys his new life, surrounded by love 💕 and without any trouble to find food during long winters on Kalymnos when there is no tourist.. because this is the reality of Kalymnian cats… Thanks to his new family for this beautiful adoption ❤️❤️
This baby cat was sterilized on the 15th of February 😻Thanks for allowing us to continue our TNR work on Kalymnos island. We still need you and your financial support so don’t hesitate to make a donation. Even 5 or 10€ help a lot 🚀
