Generally a cage is around $100 alone so it’s a major deal!

Sweet pea is an extremely tame and friendly Guinea pig. She’ll come right up to you for pets and treats. She’s an elderly 5 year old but has a lot of personality and s***k left in her!
Tammy is a friendly girl as well, she’s definitely Sweet Peas shadow and follows her around everywhere lol Theyre extremely bonded and cannot be separated.
$50 for the pair by themselves

$110 for the pair and there 8sqft cage, two large houses, two large water bottles, two bowls, and nail clippers.

Unfortunately due to living circumstances and a major life event, I’ve had to make a very heartbreaking decision to adopt out all of my own personal Guinea pigs/herds. 😔 I will be posting about 12 Guinea pigs for rehoming.
The 3 males are all bonded in a 18sqft enclosure(one male is disabled from a deformity and needs extra care)
I have 1 female alone
2 more females in a cage together
5 females that share a 18sqft enclosure. I’m happy to give away the customized enclose if someone can take all 5 girls.
I will be very picky to ensure they go to very loving homes that will keep them for the remainder of there lives.
The rescue will be officially closing down after everyone is adopted out.

Despite Molly being so large! She ended up having two healthy babies on September 29th ❤️ I will be able to s*x them in about two weeks! Stay tuned for gender reveals!

We are always in desperate need of donations each month! These donations allow for me to take in even more Guinea pigs and provide necessary medical treatment, food and bedding to be able to properly take care of them.
Please consider donating! Currently we have about 600 followers on this page. If each person donated $10, that would be plenty of funds for the next possible year.
If funds are raised so I can take more Guinea pigs in, I will be looking for 1-2 volunteers to help me with weekly cleanings 🙂

Unfortunately our sweet girl Pickles passed away last night. She was put on antibiotics on Monday and seemed stable. Yesterday evening I noticed that her symptoms got much worse and her health declined fast. I found her this morning next to her house 😔
In the short time that she was at the rescue, we grew quickly attached to her. She will be very missed 💔

I apologize for not posting or keeping up with messages the past few days. I will respond soon!
I’ve been focused on the extra care Pickles needs right now. Unfortunately the soonest appointment I was able to book on Thursday is for Monday morning. She’s still eating and drinking but has had lots of diarrhea and bloating. I’m currently giving her critical care which is used for sick Guinea pigs. It’ll help with nutrients, weight and keeping her appetite up. Pickles is only 702grams right now. This is very tiny for a Guinea pig with her structure. She is such an incredibly sweet Guinea pig. She’s been very talkative and loves all the attention/pets that she can get. Please keep her in your thoughts and prayers ❤️

The rescue is in very desperate need of donations right now for an emergency vet visit.
Unfortunately one of the girls taken in today from the worst neglect situation has an upper respiratory infection. She needs to be seen by a vet immediately tomorrow. URIs are very serious, they lead to pneumonia which leads to death quickly. Please consider donating to help get this poor girl back to health. 😓 Right now we have her in a separate room. URIs are easily transmitted to other Guinea pigs.

Tomorrow morning two Guinea pigs are being brought to the rescue. Both came from one of the top worst neglect situations so far. They were covered in f***s and were living in a tiny cage that was filled with roaches and maggots. 😓
Thankfully a very kind person stepped in and took them in immediately to get them out of there awful situation. I will be doing health checks and hopefully have them up for adoption soon. 💜

Our handsome boy Hercules is almost 3lbs!!
Adult females generally weigh between 1.5 and 2 pounds (700-900g)
Adult males generally weigh between 2 and 2.6 pounds (900-1,100g)
It’s important to be weighing your Guinea pig every 2-3 weeks to ensure they’re keeping a consistent weight. Weight loss can indicate illness or old age in a Guinea pig. A kitchen scale with a plastic bowl on top is an easy way to measure their weight. 😊

Molly was recently abandoned in a field along with 3 other Guinea pigs. Thankfully a family with a big heart for animals was able to catch her and bring her to the rescue. Unfortunately it’s not uncommon for people to let domesticated animals free. Guinea pigs have no defense mechanism so the others most likely were caught by predators or died from the heat.
Molly will be staying at the rescue for the next 3-7 weeks. I suspect that she’s pregnant so we will wait and see! I will be posting updates on her and eventually she and her possible babies will be up for adoption. 💜

After observing Oreo, I found that that she’s a Peruvian/standard short hair mix. 😊
Both girls are very sweet! Since adjusting to being at the rescue, they’ve started to come out of there shells. They are not afraid to make it known when they want veggies and treats 😂

A reminder of what should be included in your Guinea pigs weekly diet! 🥬🥒🫑
I highly recommend Oxbow Garden Select pellets to avoid alfalfa and other fillers. Daily use of alfalfa can increase the risk of bladder stones and other health issues.
Daily vitamin C is an absolute must to avoid scurvy. Oxbow sells a great vitamin C tablet as well!
