What an awesome training session today.

All the dogs did amazingly, the hard work is really starting to pay off.

But tonight, as I sit and reflect on the day, I want to give a massive shout out not to the dogs, but to my amazing team.

Each and everyone of you give everything you have to the team, including the kids. We support each other, support every single dog. Pick up the pieces of each other when one of us is having a bad day, cook dinner, make brews, box load, ball collect, release dogs, do props, watch techniques, run our dogs, let Rob sleep when he needs to 🤣🤣 the list could go on and on but it’s what makes a team and I'm very grateful for mine and thank you all for being who you are.

I couldn’t do it without any of you, and Rob’s going to kill me but here he is sleeping on the job lol. And one of Sneak because she is pretty 😍

We were literally on fire today.

It was absolutely freezing but we had lots of fun.

1 new PB making Falcon the fastest dog in the UK, we think.

PC Slot for Apollo, Fuel, Juice, Hershey. Really not long till these 4 will be making their debut they are looking 👌👌👌

Congratulations to one of our incredible juniors.

Not only does she run Meg like a pro but she is an absolute pro at gymnastics. At only 4 years old, Ariya has been invited to join the squad team, this girl has a very special talent.

Maybe we will see her in the Olympics one day.....

Meet the team dogs

Basher. (Crossbreed)

Bashers mum was a rescue that Shani took in who was pregnant already, Shani whelped them and raised the puppies, she found amazing homes for them but Bash stayed put with Shani.

Bash is a big friendly giant, who loves everyone and everything, he just loves life, but his love for tennis ball has caused a few issues.

Shani has made the difficult decision to retire Bash from the flyball lanes. However, he will still be having a little play at training and still a massive part of the team.

We love you Bash.

Well it's been drawn and we will be making our way onto the green carpet on the Thursday.

We are very excited to experience this as a team for the first time, and what will be, will be but we will enjoy every minute.

The kids have a drawn a tough team and will be facing Raptors but they will give it their best, and enjoy every minute.

Meet Barley (border collie)

Barley loves Leia and hunting rats.

This boy is just one of the best, and a favourite in the team. He is loving, easy going and just a good all rounder. He can be run by anyone but he really does have a special bond with Leia. You will see them together at Crufts in 2024.

With Wind in season, Phish had to step up into the top team this weekend at Holly Lodge Farm, he held his own though running 3.9's and help us run lots of sub 15 times.

We managed a fastest time of 14.80.

We are so pleased with the way Phish has come back to racing after his little accident.

Meet Ayre 🌬

Not even 2 and has a PB of 3.52. 😮

3/4 whippet x 1/4 Collie, bred inhouse by Quinnkai Sports Dogs (Fyre x Cryptic)

Owned and loved by Donna and Rob, handled by Joe.

She loves her tuggy, her bed and Uncle Joe, hates the treadmill 🤣

Ayre is in our 1st team Elements fire, at first the race and the atmosphere blew her head and she just wanted to get back to her tug as quickly as possible meaning jumps became optional. After a couple of weeks going NFC and some serious training drills, this weekend at Holly Lodge she ran paw perfect both days, not running out once and only spitting a few times.

We know she has more in that tank and we can't wait to see her.

Apollo 🥊 Aged 14 months

Whippet x greyhound with a little bit of saluki in there somewhere.

He loves food 🍽 and the treadmill, but hates the cold 🥶

Apollo is progressing well in his PC slots, he is running 4.1s but is a bit of scaredy cat when it comes to the box so he is very hesitant of it. We will working hard on building his confidence over the winter ready to debut him early next year.

He is owned by Joe and Jodi, and will be handled by Joe.

Sneak is one of the new additions to the Elements family and has fitted in a dream. A very loving soul with fire in her belly when the tuggy comes out to play. She is going to be one to watch out for in the lanes for sure!

3 of our babies also made their debut into open racing this weekend at Horsley Fen we did go NFC to make sure we allowed no mistakes.

1st dog Seren, this little girl did absolutely amazing, her turn was paw perfect, her ball carriage and by the end of the day she was starting to race the other lane and show us some nice times on the clock, we are so proud of her and Vicky.

2nd dog Barley - experience prop helping the young ones learn.

3rd dog Monster - he needs some work on his turn, his power and in speed means he has a tendacy to blow his box.

4th dog Juice - her turn is just incredible, 🤩🤩 her speed, her work ethic just mind blowing. Just need that ball all the way now Juciey.

Our little league singles rocked the lanes today…….what a start to our Champs 2023.

Maisie worked her little brain and came home with her first ever rosette.

Basher proved he is ready to be promoted to the big leagues and won his division.

Dottie and Julia both new to game but absolutely smashed their slot and thoroughly deserved their division win.

Ayre filled in NFC and is bringing more and more balls, gaining valuable ring experience.

Super proud of everyone. Here’s to tomorrow, these guys have definitely set the bar high.

Our first league team hitting the lanes at the UK Flyball League Champs 2023 is our Water team.

Cryptic and Leia - Cryptic is no stranger to the Champs, but will she decide to run in 1 lane or 2? 🤣🤣

Breeze and Amelia - good old miss reliable at the age of 9, one of our most consistent dogs and can run in any position.

Lulu and Jodi - another oldie and good old miss reliable, never puts a foot wrong, but Jodi’s legs know she has run her.

Neo and Shani - Neo just keeps getting better and better; his turn, his confidence. Can he hit another new PB?

Meg and Maddie - Meg is oldest of the team and this will sadly, definitely be her last, we did say this last year but Meg had other ideas.

Sassy and Charlotte - Sassy's first Champs, she is ready and raring to go.
