86 dogs over two days ... all I can say is WOW .. I am truly humbled for everyone that came to SETWA and showed over the last two days ... thank you to Purina Valu Pak Dog Food Midwest Laserworks

****PURINA POINTS EVENT ***
Hope to see everyone this weekend .... Friday show deadline is 2:00 pm . (There was a little confusion because UKC had 3:00 but the ad said 2:00) we had UKC update website to show 2:00 .. Saturday show deadline is 10:00 am ... both shows and both hunts are Purina Points events .. if you have any questions please let me know .

I know that we had announced the SETWA Judges a few weeks back but Ms Jackie Carpenter has had to step back due to some upcoming surgery... please keep Ms Jackie in your prayers she sure has had a lot over the last few years ... with that being said Danielle Champ has agreed to come down and judge the Saturday show for us.. David McKee will still be judging Friday ..

Big news today from Purina Committee ... SETWA Event in February will be a Purina Points Event ... two hunts and two shows to earn points at ... hope everyone will come join us the end of February ... also we are pleased to announce that our Bench Show Judges will be Friday David McKee and Saturday Jackie Carpenter ...

2023 SETWA bench shows are in the books another great day with some beautiful hounds .. congratulations to Melinda Hicks on the Overall win with West Fork River Addicted to Love and Leslie Brooks on her Opp S*x win with Sideshow Way Out West... 85 total dogs over the two days just blows me away thank to our judges Perry Driggers Lee Currens and Andi Elburn Emory ... thank you to our sponsors Midwest Laserworks Bryce Matthews for the awesome awards Ronnie Mace and Specialty Feeds Inc Brandon White and NextLevel Kayla Cooper and Ruffland Kennels .. So everyone has been asking who's judging the SETWA Shows ..
This year is the 50th Anniversary and I wanted to bring in a couple of judges that have been supporting SETWA for all if not most of those 50 years this is a special year with some great prizes and special 50th Anniversary Awards... so with that being said this year's judges will be:
Friday Show Mr. Perry Driggers
Saturday Show Mr. Lee Currens
A couple of side notes ... Saturday's show deadline is now 10:00 am instead of 9 and benches have been corrected to the proper size

50th Anniversary SETWA chairs for the bench show winners I think they look amazing .. Ruffland Kennels will also be awarded .. we will have special awards to mark the 50th Anniversary.. bench show judges will be announced after Grand American ...

Want to so thank you to everyone who brought their kiddos out for the SETWA Youth show today ... we had 18 entries and some very nice hounds today ... congratulations to Raven Hunt on her overall SETWA Youth Championship with CH 10-19 shots fired @ leeview thank you Gerald Black for judging for us today ...

Just a little update on the upcoming youth hunt and show in November ... prize packages are coming together.. we will have a ruffland kennel for overall and Opposite s*x in the youth show each will also get a new show bench.. working on so other things also so just wanted to put this much out there .. hope everyone makes plans to join us

2022 SETWA Youth Championship will be held on November 12th 2022 in Union SC ..
Benches are being corrected to be the correct size and dates moved for no conflict with other events.. please make plans to join us .. Gerald Black will be our Bench Show Judge

Ok everyone we have a SETWA meeting this Saturday morning and I need some of your input once again ... of course next up is the SETWA youth hunt and show this fall so I need some input on prizes and what you as a parent or youth want to see to entice you to support this event ... this is your association we are just your voice but I can't be your voice if you want tell me what your thinking. I know about the location hotel and bench size issues but other than that let me know what your thinking..
