Finally finished Sandy & Moo's first tank clean 😮‍💨 normally I'd spread it out over 2 days but because it's their first one I wanted to do it quickly to get them back in. Made absolutely sure I had enough bedding this time too 😅

Finally done 😮‍💨 after 3 months of bonding & upgrades, Moo & Sandy finally have their full setup! Bedding isn't quite as high as I'd like it, silly me thinking 7kg of h**p & 85L of kaytee as well as half a bag of hay would be enough 😅 but I'm sure they'll rearrange it how they like it in no time!

How to make a bin cage for gerbils 🔨

While they're not suitable as permanent homes, bin cages can make excellent temporary homes for gerbils, and can also be used as an immediate upgrade if your current enclosure is too small but you're not able to get a full size glass tank right away

A look at what the small savic gerbilarium and the savic "XL" bases look like in comparison to the minimum 100x50x50cm that gerbils need
