As the wind chills get colder in these winter months, we'd like to remind dog owners to be extra careful when bringing your pups outside. Even the dogs with the thickest fur are subject to frostbite and hypothermia in bad wind chill conditions. Plus, those precious little toe beans are exposed to the elements!

Our first priority is ALWAYS the utmost safety for your dog, so here are our general guidelines for walking in cold weather.* Feel free to use these guidelines for yourself at your own discretion 😊

For healthy adult dogs:

0-32 degrees Fahrenheit: 15 minute walk

Below zero: NO WALK/short potty time

For senior dogs, puppies, sick dogs, etc.:
**Winter coats heavily encouraged**

20-32 degrees Fahrenheit: 15 minute walk

Below 20 degrees Fahrenheit: NO WALK/short potty time

*Please use in regards to WIND CHILL temperatures to prevent hypothermia and/or frostbite in you or your dog.
