We wanted to give a big THANK YOU shout-out to Little Village Toy & Book Shop in Littleton for their generous donation we received from their penny jar collections this week. This donation covered this sleepy kitten's and her siblings' spay/neuter and shots so they could find loving families for the holidays (their names were Eenie, Meenie, Miney, and Moe!) Meet Jolene! She’s going to be staying with us for the time being, while she learns what it is like to be part of a family. She spent the first couple years of her life as a feral dog, and this is a strange new world to her. She is terrified of human touch, and we are giving her space while she makes this huge adjustment. But she is gentle, and just a lovely lady. I’ll be updating everyone periodically with her progress. She’s a special girl.

The first "training" session took place in our space today. A broken finger and nasty cold has slowed down progress this week but we are so so close! Some baseboard needs to be put in, a little fencing, and then to buy lots and lots of toys. We're hoping for an early January open!
