River - 18 month old Labrador ❤️ She is an absolute pleasure to work!! Beautiful looking which is nice, but super attentive, engaged and bidding.
She's been (mostly) doing really well with most aspects of life, just struggled a little in some pretty common areas - lead work, recall and a little over exuberance when meeting and greeting others.
She picked up loose lead walking in no time at all, looooves a ball so recall has been pretty straight forward and is working on being calmer around others 😅 Pack walks should 'fix' that pretty quickly too... We've also taught her a serious level of impulse control (we did about a months worth of work in 1 hr because she is so smart 😍 and will help with her excitement around others) and we introduced recall when allowed to chase this evening, which again, she absolutely nailed!
The future looks bright for this little beauty 😁🙌🏼

Lottie - 15 month old Belarusian rescue, terrier mix. She's a cracking little dog who was lacking confidence in a few areas, but she has absolutely smashed it over the last couple weeks!! She was reactive, pulled on the lead, not thrilled with new people in her house and was disengaged on a walk...
Fast forward 2 weeks, lots of play, engagement and fun and all of these behaviours are forgotten! Unlocking play can be hugely beneficial - ball, tuggy and flirt pole... Happily, calmly and confidently walking past and working in close proximity to other dogs and people this morning ❤️ Not a peep out of her! And bonus points for absolutely nailing recall now too 😁🙌🏼

Maggie - 13 month old Sprocker 😍 What an stunner!! Her temperament is every bit as sweet as her look ❤️ She's super affectionate too, which suits me perfectly! How could you not want to kiss and cuddle this little belter??
She's another that had a rough start, and saw very little other than the inside of a crate for her first 9 months!
She's been in her forever home for 5 months and is absolutely thriving! Of course she has a few obstacles and hurdles to overcome but she is doing amazing! A graduate of our fundamentals class a few months ago, and has developed her obediences further since so nothing needed there! Our work now is going to be focused around loose lead walking and recall. Considering she hadn't been outside properly before a few months ago, (and given her breed 🤣) she is doing okay with those bits already, just needs to be a little sharper and consistent. Love her!

Lottie - 14 month old Ukrainian rescue. She (like many other imported rescued dogs) had a tough start to life, and has consequently left her feeling a little unsure in the world she lives in 😢 We've got a couple of areas to work on - loose lead walking, reactivity, recall and allowing new people into her home, but, more importantly, through all of these bits we'll be building confidence and teaching her the world isn't such a scary place. She did amazingly this morning (first meeting) and showed how capable she is, she just needs a little extra guidance to help her understand she can relax 😌❤️

Ovi - 8 month old Golden retriever ❤️ What an absolute stunner!! He's melted me this morning... fantastic young dog with an awesome temperament. He's developing beautifully with most things in life, but as with most pups, needs a little additional guidance on a couple of bits - jumping up, mouthing, digging, a little hu***ng, occasionally a little defiant. Nothing too serious but a little brushing up to see him really fulfill his potential and get to enjoy all aspects of life fully! Can't wait to get stuck in with absolutely beauty 🥰

Another fundamentals group graduation last night 😁🙌🏼 Everybody did absolutely brilliantly! All of the dogs have developed really well over the past 6 weeks, but some were unreal!! Huge well done again to all - but this is the start line, not the finish! Now 'get out with the dogs' and put it all into practice 😉👍🏼❤️
