After Teds walk I dropped Cash home then it was off for a walk with Walts. He's been a bit under the weather of late and needs to stay calm so no Cash joining us! He's feeling much better though so may get to see his hero before Xmas. As you can see Walts likes his sticks too!

Last walk for 2024 with Ted today so Cash and I picked him up and went to the showgrounds. Poor Ted couldn't figure out why Cash was so into the stick !! 🤣🤣

Bit cooler today than the last few times I've walked Ted so we went for a wander around the streets and then through the park.
After that is was off to check in on the crazy girl Gigi ! She just loves bouncing around on those long legs Lol

A trip to the groomer for Starr this arvo, he even came home with a flash wee bandana, thanks to Emma and Sandra at Top Dog Pet Grooming.
Bit less fluffy than the first photo from Saturday and feeling a lot better for it with the heat.

After walking Ted and dropping Cash home, it was time to drop in on Gigi for a bit of fun.

Had an appointment in ChCh first thing this morning & Cash didn't get much of a walk before that, so he tagged along on Teds walk again.

It was a bit warm for walking Ted around the streets by the time I finished my puppy training consult this morning and as Cash also needed a run we picked Ted up and headed to the show grounds.

When walking your dog this summer, check the temperature is safe for their paws!

You can do this by placing the back of your hand on the surface for 7 seconds - if its too hot for your hand, its too hot for their paws! 🐾

After walking Ted it was off for a home visit to Gigi a Retriever Poodle cross. Gigi also attends our North Canterbury Tevra classes and passed her Canine Good Basics on Sunday

A bit warm for little paws on the pavement so it was into the van for Ted and off to Dudley Park for a wander where he happily got a pat from some kids then off home for a quick game and a cooling off of paws in his pool.

⚠️ Health New Zealand | Te Whatu Ora has issued a health warning after potentially toxic blue-green algae (planktonic cyanobacteria) was found in Lake Pegasus.
⚠️ People should avoid the Lake and animals, particularly dogs, should not be allowed near the water until the health warning has been lifted.
