Also following in her sire and dams foot steps. Rylie's littermate Duma earned her PSA PDC title! She will be working towards her PSA 1 now! She was a beast on the field and we're all proud of her! Fantastic job Savannah with Benchmark's Doberman Gang!

We'd like to give a shout-out to the wonderful job Benchmark Dobermans is doing! Ivan, Rylie's sire completed his PSA 1 title with High in protection a first place as well! He is currently one of only two living Dobermans that has obtained that title in an incredibly difficult sport. Benchmark's Doberman Gang

It's been awhile since we posted anything so I thought I'd give some updates! Rylie earned her Community Canine Good Citizen as well as her Urban Canine Good Citizen!

I've been so sore and tired (37 weeks pregnant) but Ry Bug has been so patient with me. I haven't worked her at all in a week and a half. So today I decided she was definitely going to get worked! We resumed what we had previously been working on which is her learning the high jump. Since it doesn't take a lot from me. I want her to really love to jump and to want to choose it. My final picture I'm training for is her choosing to jump with no guidance from me and it not matter where I am or the dumbbell is in correlation to the jump. I also added extra difficulty today by adding the extender to make the jump higher instead of the low height which I taught her with. I put the pad of food way off center so she really has to make the decision to want to make the jump, because it honestly doesn't make sense to take it since the pad and myself are more inline and the jump is off to the side. She has been doing very well and we will continue to build it! I will soon be adding the dumbbell in which she has learned separately. This should make for a seamless transition later and a more reliable dog in trial since it's me and I will probably throw the dumbbell badly😂

So I realized that I had never posted Rylie's lure course run! This was her second leg towards her CA title. She had learned the course enough that she caught the lure mid run! Love the crazy hyena!

Just an update, Rylie's owner/handler Kristi had to have emergency surgery and therefore Rylie couldn't show this weekend. Kristi is okay and will make a nice recovery. Rylie will be shown in May with the upcoming show.
