Had a great event once again! Very laid back and enjoyed the company! Hops pulled a first place and Fastest Combined time for the weekend, Barley and his daughter, Misty, both pulled off second place. Huckston finally got to run his first official youth run now that he is 5! Thank you all that came out and especially helped, and big thanks to Morgan for bringing prizes!

We are so proud to announce WSD She'll Leave You in a Fog, aka, Misty. The runt of Barley and Rue's litter. She is a very tender pup, but increasing her confidence steadily. She is gonna be quite the firecracker one day!

We've had a super busy Summer and haven't posted much, but our pups got it done! Barley earned two more passes, Hops two more, and our sweet girl Misty (daughter of Barley and Rue), earned her first three passes toward a WSD title. FAQ:

Can I register my chip with Fi even though it's registered elsewhere? Yes! When your chip is searched in the universal database petmicrochiplookup.org, both registrations will show up, but your Fi registration shows as the most up to date and you will never be charged. Your old registration can stay in there, but you can keep your Fi registration up to date for free.

Why do I need a GPS collar if I have a microchip? Microchips are NOT GPS - in order to find your pup via a microchip, someone has to find your dog, bring them to a vet to have them scanned, look up your information, and contact you - that's why the registration is so important!

A week ago today, we lost our sweet Rue girl, I still can't believe she is gone, she left us far too soon. I am really thankful it's Summer and we are on a break from shed events or it would be that much harder. We are happy that we got the time we had with her, she was the absolute best. We never once had to get onto her and she loved the kids more than anything. We are also very thankful that she was able to have one litter of pups and we still have her daughter that will begin competing this Fall.
RIP Rue, you will never be forgotten, we love you girl!!

So proud of these dogs as always! Hops got her a 1st place on Saturday and Barley coming in 2nd, and Rue with a pass Saturday. Then Sunday our fellow Okie friend, Moss with Apex Sport Dogs earned 1st place, with Barley coming in 2nd, and Rue in 3rd, and Hops with another pass, and Barley getting fastest combined time!! Of course we couldn't have shown up without a little Okie class, little knuckles the goat had to tag along. All in all a great weekend in the big state of Texas! Thank you CenTex Bone Finders for a great event!

I have to say thank you UKC Hunting Ops for getting these out promptly, it's very much appreciated!!

Hops and Rue both earned their CHSD titles the same weekend here in OK and Aspen the weekend prior in KS, proud of our girls, going for that Grand soon!

The gang did it again, but this time in my own home state of TX. They went 12 for 12, with Barley placing 2nd on Friday and Hops taking 4th, and Rue coming in a tight 4th place on Sunday. Barley is also now a Champion x 2, honing in on that Grand title. Super proud of them once again! Huge thanks to the fantastic host, Stephenson and the Lonestar K9 Performance Club for putting on the first TX shed hunt and letting us be apart. Thanks to M6 Ranch for everything, we absolutely enjoyed meeting you and getting to see the calves and enjoyed the crawdads on Saturday!

Dogs did it again at our 2nd shed hunt here in Oklahoma! 12 for 12 with passes, Rue placed both Friday and Saturday, catching her up in points, earning both, herself and Hops their Champion Titles this weekend!! The boys all earned passes in Youth with Rue, giving them 6/6, and Rylan earning Youth Fastest Combined Time. Super proud of these dogs, we can't wait for the next one. We got done just I time to take pictures in the rain! 😆

Aspen earned her Champion title over the weekend, Hops got herself a very close 4th place, and Barley earned 2nd place Friday with a 3rd placed in combined time, including youth Friday and Saturday we went 12 for 12!! Great weekend, looking forward to our event next weekend in Oklahoma!

Special shout out to Fuchs and Newcomb for a great job judging the youth, the care you showed was more than we could ask for! And to Luke Boles with Richland Creek Antler Dogs for training Hops!

Miles for Piles!! Found four sheds, some bones, and fossils out on public land in Kansas on top of four solid passes, two youth passes and Barley earning a 2nd place finish today!!! I'd call that a successful day.

I have one male left, Lagoon, he is more on the active side, has a lot of instinct to fetch, about 60/40 on independent/dependent. He is definitely fun to play with and enjoys interaction! He weighed 13lbs at his 2nd vet check up.

I possibly have a female if interested, was planning on hanging onto her, but may consider letting her go.

Had a great time once again at the Show-Me Shed Dogs event. We went 6 outta 8 for passes. Two of our girls were in heat, so it was not Barley's weekend, but Rue did awesome for the boys with a 2nd, 3rd, and 4th place finish for both days. Thanks again to everyone who made it happen!!
