Beautiful morning for some recall practice with Obi!

A little bit of morning enrichment. This one was abit tricky but he nailed it! Treats by Louie Loves 'Em Homemade Dog Treats ❤

Recall with Elvis. He did so well today, especially since there were some good sniffs happening.

Enrichment activities don't have to be difficult or super elaborate. Here we are using the slide and feed bowl with some leftover treats. Treats used included Louie Loves 'Em Homemade Dog Treats, Providore and Ziwipeak. Did you know we stock a range of enrichment products? We've been abit slack adding them to our website but one of our 2023 goals is to be more organised 🤣

Some lovely loose lead walking from Percy today. We've been focusing on him not pulling on the lead when out and about. Percy's at the teenage stage at the moment and life is pretty darn exciting for him so this is a pretty big deal for him!

Walk & Train with Percy. Today we focused on having some fun, exploring, stays, confidence building and coordination ❤

Christmas Casual Club. Thank you to Cowboy, Arlo, Obi, Indo and Bronte for joining in the festive activities. Today our teams participated in the following activities: 🎄 Luring around the Christmas tree 🎄 Waiting while their person put a decoration on the tree 🎄 Santa's ladder 🎄 Settling on the mat while their person wrapped a Christmas present 🎄 Loose lead walking and placing their present under the tree 🎄 Loose lead walking while holding either a wine glass or turkey on a plate (and FYI not a single drop was spilt from the wine glass 🤣) I am so impressed with how well all the teams did today, I hope you all had lots of fun!

We had the loveliest little group for our Social Paws walk tonight. So proud of how well they did with all the distractions, noises, narrow walk ways and all the birds! Thank you for a fantastic session, Moose, Storm and Kaycee ❤

Walk & Train with Kaycee. We also added in some recall, some climbing, some confidence building, some problem solving and some activities to build engagement. Well done Kaycee ⭐

Building brave puppies. Building brave, confident, resilient puppies ensures that they grow and develop into well balanced, well adjusted dogs. We believe that gentle exposure is the best approach to new and novel experiences. Forcing a puppy into a situation that is uncomfortable or scary for them, often does more harm then good and you end up with bigger issues long term. Here is a video from our Social Paws session showing Kylie from Skypuppy School with puppy Skye (7 months old) encouraging and supporting her to be brave and climb the steps of the play equipment. This is exactly what we want to aim for and this video is a perfect example of 'building brave' ❤
