Sweet little Porkchop wants a ‘human only’ forever home.

“Porkchop Needs A Place
🐶🐶🐶❤️❤️🐶🐶🐶
To know her is to love her
Porkchop is one of the most amazing, resilient and sweet dogs we have met at Friends of Yonkers Animal Shelter.
When she was picked up she was in bad condition with several wounds that appeared to be dog bites. She was immediately taken to the animal hospital, where her wounds were treated, and the last few weeks she has been resting and recuperating. now she’s doing much better and she’s ready to move onto her next chapter which we are sure will be her best.
We can’t say what happened to her because we weren’t there. We can see she was used for breeding. She appears to have had quite a few litters and we can see she had some dog bites but we don’t know what happened. What’s amazing is this dog seems very pleased to be here. she always looks like she has a smile on her face And she’s incredibly happy to meet everyone as long as they’re on 2 feet. She’s not crazy about her 4 footed friends and she has let us know that she would like to be the only pet in the house. She’ll be terrific for people who like to have companionship. She seems to want to watch TV with you ; as you can see she likes sitting on the bench with Gail ;she’d be happy to have a fenced in yard where she could run around. She’s very curious and likes to sniff all the different things outside, you know maybe she came from an apartment where she didn’t see a lot of grass. of course we don’t know that…what we can see is whoever owned her certainly fed her in fact she’s lost a few pounds since she’s been here. She’s on a little diet and she’s looking very well
Pork chop deserves the best home and that’s what we intend to find for her. We think she’s about 3-4 years old and her weight hard to say. She’s solid as you can see she’s a low rider ; most likely an American Bully. and we wouldn’t be surprised if she weighs 50 pounds , if you’d like to meet Porkchop text Michele at 914-374-4808 or for questions , text us at 201-981-3215 you can also email at friends of [email protected].
