First off, druids and places like Stonehenge, Avebury or many of the ancient standing stones scattered across this fair isle! 🌿✨ Have you ever wondered why the Summer Solstice is so special for druids? It’s like their ultimate celebration, gathering at Stonehenge to witness the sun rising above the Heel Stone. The sense of ancient magic in the air is almost palpable. Imagine being there, surrounded by those enormous stones, feeling the early morning mist, and seeing the first rays of sunlight piercing the sky. Goosebumps, right?! Thousands gather here every year to share this breath taking moment, creating an exhilarating experience of unity and wonder.

Or maybe like me the Long Man of Wilmington! is your thing🗿🌄 This ancient figure carved into the hillside of East Sussex is not just a giant stickman. Oh no, this chalky fellow has been a focal point for rituals and ceremonies for centuries. At our Anderida Gorsedd Summer Solstice Ceremony, you'll find us modern-day druids performing mesmerizing rituals. People bring offerings, chant, and celebrate the longest day of the year together. Whether you're a history buff or just love a good spectacle, witnessing these rituals is like stepping back in time, and our gathering is open to all.

And finally, the Driving Druids are hitting the road again this weekend for adventures that are sure to be both memorable and magical as we seek out ancient places and the 'old ways' of bygone rituals and celebrations
