Asha’s Left Tusk is GONE! Free All Captive Elephants -FACE had eyes on her at Two Tails Ranch in Florida 9/6/24. Something happened to Asha. She was swaying in one spot the entire time, displaying stereotypical behavior. We are working to find out what happened to Asha between June 18, 2024 and September 6, 2024. Stay tuned. freeallcaptiveelephants.org
♥️ Somboon ♥️
87 years old!!!
Elephant Nature Park
Chiang Mai, Thailand.
Somboon has been in beautiful sanctuary since January of 2024, after 87 years of an abusive life in the tourism industry. She started out as a baby born free to a mother that would have done anything to keep her safe. But that was not to be.
More than 87 years ago, Somboon was ripped away from her mother, beaten and broken into submission to begin a life in the logging industry. After logging was outlawed, she was broken again to give rides to thousands of tourists wanting to check off an item on their bucket list. Most likely, she was forced to breed as well where her babies would have been taken away and put through the same abuse as she endured.
It is remarkable she lived through all of this abuse to be 87. A life of pure hell.
But now… Somboon is finally free from her past life and living as she was born to live. Just look at her! She is THRIVING in beautiful SANCTUARY. She is loved and given everything she needs now.
She has a WONDERFUL mahout that stays with her day and night and looks after her with lots of tender-loving care.
We personally saw Somboon and enjoyed watching her being so well taken care of. She gets everything she needs… and more! It is a miracle at 87, she is alive… and finally… she gets a life worth living.
Every second she has to enjoy her life as she was born to live…is a miracle and so heartwarming to see.
Thank you Elephant Nature Park for everything you do for Somboon and all of the 126 elephants in your care.

What Happened to Asha’s Tusk? It’s GONE! Under the care of Two Tails Ranch in Florida, Asha’s tusk is gone. Did it break? Was it an accident? Was it removed on purpose? Where is Asha’s beautiful tusk? We want answers and we will make sure they are held accountable.

♥️♥️♥️😍Asha the Elephant.
Between June and September, 2024, something happened to Asha’s TUSK while in the care of Two Tails Ranch. She had two beautiful tusks when she arrived, now she has one. Two Tails Ranch must answer our concerns. What we uncovered with our boots on the ground, we want answers for and we intend to find out.
We asked Patricia Zerbini, the owner of TTR, what happened to Asha’s tusk? Her answer was, “It’s a tooth.” That was it. Nothing else was said. Well we can say a beautiful tusk on a 4 ton elephant is something quite spectacular! It is more than just a tooth.
What are they hiding? FACE continues to work for Asha to get her out of her horrible conditions and into true sanctuary. We need your support to help in our vital work on Asha’s behalf.
Please donate to FACE. PLEASE share these posts showing others awareness for Asha. Follow the ACTIONS forthcomming for Asha’s welfare. Keep your eyes and ears open for more updates.

Elephant Nature Park, Chiang Mai, Thailand.
♥️ Medo and recent rescue, ♥️ Somboon (age 87)… enjoying some “me time” after all the other elephants have gone to their night enclosures. They get to wonder about, Medo went down to the river and Somboon went to the mud wallow. Both of their mahouts are very caring and gentle.
They deserve every bit of tender care given.
No riding. No bathing. No bull hooks. NO chains.
Visitors must keep their distance and view the elephants as they walk about.
ENP is an ETHICAL SANCTUARY.
If you visit Thailand…ONLY VISIT ETHICAL SANCTUARIES.
NEVER, EVER, visit places that offer elephant rides, bathing, painting, or chains their elephants and carry bull hooks. The suffering an elephant goes through is shocking! Your support of these kinds of places causes their suffering to continue. IF YOU STOP… the suffering will stop.
Be the change.

This was Nosey before she was rescued and sent to her wonderful life in sanctuary at the Elephant Sanctuary in Tennessee.
As you can see in this film BEFORE Nosey Was rescued, she was confined to an area on hard concrete. This is so bad for elephant’s joints causing long term, painful arthritis. She was forced to do this for more than 35 years.
She also is “foraging” on this concrete floor for any blades of hay to eat. If she urinates, hay is used to soak it up.
Towards the end you see the lady give Nosey a little bit of hay where she devours it quickly.
Often while elephants are performing or giving rides, water and food is withheld so that they don’t relieve themselves around the paying public. They are deprived for hours and hours with no food or water. In their natural habitat, elephants spend their whole day walking and browsing on vegetation while interacting with their family herds.
Everything is taken away from elephants, that gives them any pleasure, while enslaved in horrid circuses.
Now, since November of 2017, Nosey has been in sanctuary where she is thriving. She has other elephant friends to spend her life with. She has all the simple pleasures an elephant could want or need.
No chains. No bull hooks. No deprivation of food and water. And no mental and physical abuse and neglect.
She gets to browse, take mud baths, drink from an endless supply of water… whenever she wants. She is fed appropriately. And most of all, she is meeting and socializing with other elephants just like her. ♥️
This is what Free All Captive Elephants works for…
for their suffering to end in captivity in horrific circuses and zoos, and to have a life worth living in a sanctuary.
We worked so hard for Nosey to be free from her chains… now we are working to do the same for other elephants just like Nosey once was. We couldn’t possibly continue our work without your support.
Thank you for your compassion and support!

This was Nosey filmed by a fellow advocate in August of 2016. Nosey was found enclosed in her trailer, which was not tall enough for her to even lift her head. The temperatures were in the 90’s and ALL of the trailer doors were closed. She was baking and suffocating in here while her “owners” were relaxing in their air conditioned trailer a few yards away.
Nosey was rescued and sent to sanctuary over a year later in November of 2017.

This was Nosey back in 2016 before we were able to get her rescued in 2017. This is what she endured day in and day out for over 30 years in a horrible circus.
Many other elephants STILL SUFFER this kind of torture.

We have been busy documenting Asha the elephant at the Natural Bridge Zoo in Virginia. We have been in Virginia previously visiting legislators to bring about laws to protect Asha. We hired an elephant expert to review and document Asha, using this extensive report as a tool with key authorities on Asha’s behalf.
Asha is a 41 year old wild born African elephant who was ripped away from her family herd in Africa. She has been held captive at this roadside zoo ALONE for most of her life. We want her OUT from her lonely world here and sent to beautiful sanctuary… like Nosey!
Please donate to help FACE help Asha.

To SOPA,
With Love from FACE ♥️
“From our team at Free All Free All Captive Elephants, we are so happy for you Sopa! You deserve every wonderful second in beautiful SANCTUARY. Thank you Elephant Nature Park. We know you will give Sopa all the tender loving care she could possibly need. ♥️
Sopa enjoying her cake from FACE.
She is an inspiration for ALL elephants. She is 82 years old! She shows that no matter what age…elephants are worth saving…they have life left deserving of a second chance…to be given the opportunity to live their life as they were BORN TO LIVE.
♥️🙏🏼🐘🙏🏼♥️
(We want this for Asha the elephant held captive at the Natural Bridge Zoo in Virginia. She NEEDS SANCTUARY. FACE has been working to get her free. Virginia protects the “rights” of her captors even though they have nearly 150 violations of the Animal Welfare Act.
Asha is not protected, and neither are ALL of the suffering elephants in circuses and deplorable zoos here in the USA. We are trying to get laws changed that would give elephants a chance at a better life. It’s not easy. 😔)

Ringling Bros. Circus is coming back WITHOUT animals!!
This speaks volumes about how important your voices are!!
If advocates did not PROTEST and demand change for the decades of abuse, this would not have happened.
For decades, elephants, big cats, bears, camels and many wild & exotic animals were brutally abused at Ringling Bros. They closed for good in May of 2017. Proof was presented with undercover video of the torture of these animals and people SPOKE with their wallets deciding NOT TO BUY A TICKET ever again.
Bringing awareness and education of the masses IS KEY to the RIGHT CHANGE.
Ringling Bros. Circus will do very well with their ANIMAL FREE circus. The HUMAN acts are very talented and entertaining!
Free All Captive Animals SUPPORTS ANIMAL FREE CIRCUSES. We work every day to free all captive elephants still suffering in dozens of small circuses out there operating TODAY!
Please support our organization by donating, sharing and being their voice.

This video shows the Garden Bros. Circus 3/27/2018 in Wildwood, New Jersey before Nosey’s Law became Law of NJ.
Because of such a law, this type of circus with Camels and Elephants and ALL Wild & Exotic Animals will never step foot in NJ ever again!
Nosey’s Law PROHIBITS all wild and exotic animals from traveling animal acts in the state. This law was a victory for the state of New Jersey as NJ was the FIRST state to pass a law encompassing ALL WILD and EXOTIC animals and not just elephants. Many states are following in this direction, but we need a national law.
#TEAPSPA is a national law in process that will STOP circuses with animals NATIONWIDE!
We must support TEAPSPA!
📌 Circuses are STILL going on all over the country in many states.
➡️ This video documentation was filmed by Free All Captive Elephants, who organized this Protest and Rally
in Wildwood, NJ 3/27/18, in hopes of educating circus attendees about the horrific suffering of elephants. Elephants, Viola & Isa, traveled with the Garden Bros. Circus, handled by abuser Anthony Frisco, and owned by Carson & Barnes Circus. This video shows the elephants during intermission of the circus show where they use them to give rides for extra money. They are made to walk in tiny circles on hard concrete flooring.
‼️ Notice how handler Anthony Frisco uses the bull hook (heavy, sharp weapon in his hand), jabbing Viola behind her left front leg. Why? What was she doing that made him jab her?? (It is documented undercover that elephant handlers have said you must always make sure the elephant knows who's boss.)
📌 Since this video, Anthony Frisco was demoted to cotton candy sales from handling elephants.
This is probably why!:

😢 Opening parade at Hadi Shrine cruces on Thanksgiving day.
These elephants from Carson & Barnes are brutalized to put on this show for the entertainment of humans. No animal should be abused so that people can get a thrill.
This video of head elephant handler Timothy Frisco, shows you what happens to them when the audience is not looking. This is how elephants are trained and constantly brutalized to learn tricks, give rides and OBEY.
https://youtu.be/AOi8H_PeE2E
What you’ll see is the instrument called a bull hook in the hand of EVERY elephant handler at the circus. This bull hook reminds the elephant what will come if they don’t do what they are told. Or if they mess up a trick what will happen to them after the show. They FEAR this tool of torture.
Free All Captive Elephants works to MAKE THIS SUFFERING STOP.
PLEASE never attend a circus with animals.
Please support the organizations out there in the trenches trying to do the work that is vital in bringing circuses to an END.
📌Ringling Bros. & Barnum & Bailey circus closed down on May 21st, 2017 because they saw the writing on the wall with public awareness of the animal abuse. The crowds were drastically thinning and revenue was way down.
“The Felds announced that there was no "one reason" for the circus' closure — but declining sales and mounting pressures from animal rights activists were two contributing factors. The final show was held on May 21, 2017, at the Nassau Veterans Memorial Coliseum on Long Island.”
They just recently announced that they are bringing back an ANIMAL FREE circus in 2022. This speaks volumes as to the direction circuses need to take.
