Hatching some Gastropholis prasina/Green keel bellied lizards this week :)
This clutch (total of 6 eggs) actually incubated in-situ with the parents, and she remained curled around them under the cork bark for most of the duration. Even at one point kicked an egg out which had gone bad.
Every time I try to remove a clutch to artificially incubate I have a little bit of trouble with them, so I think any future batches I will just leave with the adults like this one. Nice healthy vigorous babies. I only removed them once I noticed them starting to pip.

Happy World Frog Day from Buttons, one of the newest additions to our whites treefrog crew. Beautiful melanistic/plum morph 😃 I can’t get over those eyes!

Had a small litter of Shinisaurus born here a few weeks ago! So far they’re doing great and eating well, unfortunately all are holdbacks/spoken for but they are one of my favorites to work with so have to share a quick photo.

Another day, another holdback! Very nice orange northern blue tongue skink. The color progression has been slow and steady on this baby, did not look like much till a few sheds ago and then the brighter orange started coming in. Looking forward to more skinks on the way this May! 🤞

Holdback irian jaya blue tongue skink from this past season, each shed he gets a little bit lighter and the reds are really starting to come in. I did repeat the pairing again this year 🤞

I was gonna wait to mention these, but they were too high up on my wishlist to keep quiet. 😆 1.1 Egernia depressa.
Just thrilled to be working with them, and this marks the 4th species of Egernia on the premesis.

Male is missing a foot from an incompatible pairing in the past, a risk with skinks, but luckily these two get along great and are bonded. I’ll need a pirate theme name for them, lol.

Swarms of baby blue eye whites treefrogs over here. They are too cute! A lot of them are showing varying expression of snowflakes as well, I think I have a couple holdbacks in the bunch.

A nice red Cinnamon holdback from this past season 🙂 One of 3 that I kept from his pairings in 2024. Have to be super picky due to space constraints!

New camera does a really good job getting accurate color even in low lighting indoors, which I have struggled with on baby bts before.

Just about halfway through pairing blue tongue skinks for the season. Cinnamon, my biggest red male, never shows any interest until he sheds after coming up from brumation. Still has a chunk left on his head but he was ready to go yesterday! 😆

Will be bringing an assortment of geckos, a few blue tongue skinks, rhino rat snakes, terrarium plants & some invertebrates. I will also have a few whites treefrog tadpoles from the recent spawn if anyone would like to raise their own. Typed up a little guide on that topic as well! Be sure to stop by and chat herps! She is not the biggest fan of being pestered but she gave me a moment for at least *one* decent photo, so I’ll take it, lol! Love the way her banding looks.
Fingers crossed for some more baby Irian Jaya’s this coming season!

Two great looking baby northerns, these were produced by and I’m thrilled to have them here.

One on the left is Sunrise and Swedish lines plus het. Ivory, the baby on the right is a combo of Sunrise and Red lines. Should be fun to add them into the stuff I’m working on here and of course the ivory project too. Eating well & pretty chill little skinks.

Hershey Reptile Expo tomorrow - 11/17!

Bringing a fine assortment of skinks, anoles, geckos, and some uncommon colubrids including Boiga cyanea, false water cobra, and rhino rat snakes - all 2024 babies. A lot of holdbacks in the mix and will be running some deals on a few critters to hopefully knock down some pretty intense vet bills we had this past week.
Will also have some terrarium plants including a few rare sp., & roaches (hissers, deaths heads, shadows). Be sure to stop by and chat herps. 😎

Eating great, settling in, and I feel like the female is either gravid or cycling 🤔🤨 time will tell..
Enjoying keeping these guys so far, they have been out and active basically every time I’ve walked past the enclosure, seems like a really fun display species!
