As of yesterday, Sarah’s Heart Dog Park (located in CP twp on G Street behind Dunns Park) is officially open to the public to use and enjoy. Just a reminder, the park is the property of Carneys Point twp. Any problems or concerns contact township personnel. This page is just a fundraiser to help assist. With that being said.

A huge thank you to everyone that came out yesterday to celebrate the opening. It was a great turnout. I want to personally thank all those who volunteered their time and skills getting it all together. And especially thank you to our Mayor. Without Mayor Pelura none of this would be remotely close to being finished.

I hope everyone who has pups can enjoy the park for a long time. And for those who knew our Sarah, I hope you can have a place to sit and talk to her. Again, thank you to everyone!

I’ll keep this page active for future fundraiser if we ever want to add to the park. But until then I hope everyone has a great Memorial Day weekend!

Happy Easter to all! I hope everyone is enjoying this beautiful Sunday with your close ones! Yesterday the water line was ran so the water company can tie into it and all the pups will have a place to rehydrate! It’s all coming together! And none of this would be possible without many generous people volunteering their time to do the work! Especially our mayor who has done a wonderful job putting everything together. Next week concrete should be getting poured and that’ll put us one step closer! Until then, be safe and enjoy this beautiful day.

Steve and his crew over at Volpe Fence did an amazing job! Fencing ✅. Next the water line will be ran this weekend. Then concrete will be poured a week or two later. Equipment is starting to come in too! We are getting so close!

Construction has begun! It’s been a long time coming but we are finally getting there. Thank you to everyone who made this possible. I would like to especially thank now Mayor Wayne Pulera. Without him none of this would be possible. The township has put up most of the money for this to be a possibility and Wayne was the one leading the way!

I will update as the project comes along.

A little update. The weather the last couple weeks has delayed the start of construction. Understandably. This weekend (weather permitting) the grounds should be skimmed. After that the fencing will be able to be installed. I will update everyone next week hopefully with good news!

Today marks 3 years since we lost Sarah. So it’s fitting that today the ball is finally rolling. Today I met with Wayne from Carneys point twp and Steve from Volpe fencing to walk out the park. In the coming weeks we will FINALLY start to see this project start taking shape. I will post updates as construction begins. 🌻

Got word last night that the township has hired a contractor and are waiting on fence delivery to start. Don’t have an exact date yet but extremely exciting. I will update everyone as more progress is made!

It’s been some time since I’ve last made a post. And the reason for that is because there has been little to no news to update about. The start of the project is completely in Carneys Point twp hands. I have reached out a few times inquiring about a possible start date and each reply I get is “soon” or they ran into issues with pricing or contracts. My hope was for it to already be up and running by now. Hopefully we get good news soon so our pups will have a place to socialize and be in a safe environment.

Today Carneys Point twp public works took the delivery of our park equipment! It’s been a long process just to get to this point. Now we have to wait for the water company to run the water line and the fence company to install the fencing. My best guess would be the park will be open spring time. I’m still extremely excited to be at this point!

With all that said, I hope everyone has a great thanksgiving!

Thanks to everyone’s generosity, today the order was officially put in for the park equipment for Sarah’s Heart Dog Park. Because of all of you, we were able to raise slightly over 11 thousand dollars! That is beyond amazing and humbling. The equipment should be delivered in 4-6 weeks to Carneys point township public works. The township is just waiting on a couple contractors so they can begin this project. After the park is up and running, I will use the left over money for any additional items/ equipment that may be needed. If nothing is needed, the money will be donated to Salem county humane society on Sarah’s behalf. Again, from the bottom of my heart, thank you so much.

Wow! What an amazing and successful night! Thank you all that came out! I am at a loss for words for my gratitude towards everyone. Lasts night turn out was unbelievable. I hope everyone had a great time. It took a long time and a ton of work to finally pull off this event. Thank you to everyone who donated, thank you to everyone that helped set up, thank you to my brother and sister-in-law for running the tickets, thank you to Jan from Lapps for taking care of the food, thank you to my cousin Shane for cooking chicken all day, but thank you to everyone for coming out! If you really knew Sarah, you would know she would hate all the attention. But I know she’s proud and grateful. Because of all of you, we are one step closer! Again, thank you to everyone! 💛🌻🐕🌻💛

One more day folks! Tomorrow is finally the big day! We still have a few tickets available if anyone is interested. But for those going, just a few details. This should be common sense, but if you’re sick, or been exposed to someone sick, please do not come. I will gladly refund you. This is an inside event, but we will also have a tent for anyone wishing to sit outside. There will be tons of baskets/ items up for auction. The keg on tap for the event is Miller lite, if you want anything else there is a bar inside the venue. The venue is also asking that no outside alcohol be brought in. Also we will have my famous big dice wheel for a little additional entertainment. Other than that, it’s gonna be a good time and look forward to seeing you all.

TC was a huge help to Sarah and I when we started our photo booth business leading us to multiple jobs. I would like to send a big thank you!! If you have tickets for the event but can not make the new date (October 9th) please reach out to me. I will refund your money. For those who are asking to buy tickets, once I get a good count on how many are available, I will reach out to you. There is a list of people so I will be going by that.

As for basket donations, I only ask to have them two weeks prior to the 9th. That will give us enough time to organize things for the event.

Just to answer a few questions that are being asked

For those who reached out and wish to donate a basket for the auction, If possible I would like to have them 2 weeks prior to the event. Around September 25th. This will give us enough time to organize everything.

Also, this is a ticket event. All tickets were sold out less than 2 days for our original date. I’m in the process of reaching out to all those who bought tickets to see if they will be attending. If any tickets become available, I have a list of those who wish to purchase tickets and will reach out to them if any become available. If you would like to be added to that list please reach out.

Finally, thank you to all for the continued support! It really does mean a lot to me. Hope everyone has a safe and healthy 4th of July weekend! And remember, keep an eye on those babies with all the fireworks that will be going off the next few days.

Update!!!! (Finally)

We have finally been able to set a new date for the beef and beer!

October 9th!!! 6-11pm.

Thank you to those who have been patient with me while we tried to make this work in a post pandemic world. We will still be in need of baskets for the Chinese raffle, if you are still interested in donating a basket please reach out to me. I’ll reach out to those who have expressed interest previously.

As for those who have tickets and this date does not work for you, or if you wish to not attend, please reach out to me (Eric) and I’ll get you a refund with the return of your ticket.

Again thank you to all! I made a promise to get this done and won’t stop until it happens.
