I would like to express a huge thank you to everyone that came through the poultry shed at the Collie Agricultural Society - Collie Show yesterday. Whether you came for a look, to purchase birds, or just a chat, your support and encouragement is much appreciated 😀😀

We've started bringing girls down for tomorrow, and already 3 of the older australorp hybrids have sat down too lay an egg

Hey all, despite the Collie Poultry Show being cancelled this coming Saturday at the Collie Agricultural Society - Collie Show, we will still be in the poultry shed selling pullets.

We will have the following available if we can transport them all there:
15 week old Easter eggers ×15
18 week old australorp hybrids x13
11 week old Barnevelders x15
11-12 week old australorp hybrids and Easter eggers ×40-50 odd
11+ week Lohmann whites x30 odd
9 week old Easter eggers x20
9 week old cream legbars x10
11 week old black australorp bantams x10
Very very limited polish

We are also aiming to bring a mix of different adults from our breeding stock so there's a something to look at on the day as well

Hey all, I'm looking at moving on my bantam Australorps, the rooster was going to go to the Collie Poultry show but with that cancelled they can go now.
They are 1 year old, way too clucky for me with 4 clucky atm
The rooster will defend his girls aggressively but he is gorgeous.

It still makes me chuckle a little when people say "I just want a few chickens" 🤣🤣
That's where it all starts people and it escalates very quickly from there until you have many hahaha
Never "Too many", but definitely "Many"
