Found two really gorgeous fabrics on a recent trip to the fabric store. They only had a small amount but I couldn’t resist. Matched them up with some fur and embellishments and starting to sew today. I’ll only have enough for one sample and one coat of each colour. I kind of like it better that way as I’m not one for mass produced or wholesale stuff. Will post once it all comes together! ✨🪡

Meet my new foster, Mya. She fills my heart with so much love. She was left at a shelter at age 14. Being a blind senior, she was understandably scared, but when I knelt down to greet her, she gave me a little kiss on the nose and let me scoop her up in my arms. We had a long drive home, but that night she slept in the crook of Chase’s arm and we both fell in love. Mya shows determination and resilience every day. She has some health concerns but remains playful and affectionate. Her blindness doesn’t stop her from living a happy life. Before I leave for work each morning, I kiss her on the forehead, and she leans right in. I rush home every day because I can’t wait to see her. I love her with all my heart. 💖

Today we walk! I am over the moon with gratitude for everyone who donated to our walk. I raised DOUBLE compared to last year and that’s because of YOU. Thank you for helping me support rescue dogs - they deserve the best possible lives and these funds will help pay for their veterinary bills so they are free of pain and ailments.

It’s only one week away and we really want to reach our goal. Every dollar counts so if you can spare just a couple, it will make a difference in the life of a rescue dog.

My life has been forever changed since volunteering with BTRC and these funds will help us continue to do what we do.

Those of you who know me well understand and support my love and commitment to dogs. Boston Terrier Rescue Canada has changed my life and given me true purpose. This year has been a difficult one for me. Losing my dad, my hero and my biggest supporter, has left me feeling lost. It has been BTRC that has given me strength when I need it most and a reason to push forward.

My dad was the best foster Deda and he helped my mom fundraise. Even through his illness, he peeled countless apples so my mom could make and sell her apple strudel with all proceeds going to the vet bills for dogs in need. I want to make him proud by continuing my dedication to fostering and raising money for rescue dogs.

Along with Chase and Sephora, I am taking part in the Move Your Way 2+5K to help raise critical funds for Boston Terriers and Boston Terrier-mixes in Boston Terrier Rescue Canada’s foster program.

Many of you know that I would never ask for anything for myself – but when it comes to dogs in need, I’m asking for your help. ❤️

In the car on the way to the cottage - making good use of my time. 🥰 My boutique world was put on hold because dog rescue has taken over my life in the best possible way. 💕 Good things to come from Bostonista Boutique - hopefully the wait will be worth it.
