➡️As we all know warm up is important for human & animals, Cooling down are super effective at reduce swelling, inflammations , relieving leg pain & catch subtle signs of stress or injury early.
➡️It can be applied before exercising or an Event.
Cooling Clay prevent injury and keep horses' legs tight and ready to perform.

✨How do you apply Cooling Clay to a horse's legs?
1. Clean your horse's leg.
2. Scoop a generous handful of poultice and spread it over the leg from knee to fetlock. Apply heavier in tendon areas and around hocks.
3. Gently massage the mud into hot spots and around swollen areas.
4. Leave the Clay on overnight, or for approximately 12 hours, then wash off with water

✨Intramuscular Injection 💉

➡️ To administer an IM injection first clean and swab the area with alcohol.
➡️ Ensure the horse is being held by a handler. Do not have the horse tied up.
➡️ Be calm & in a calm, quiet environment to reduce risk of horse moving.
➡️ Use a freshly opened, new needle and syringe for every injection. Never reuse either the needle or the syringe, as a contaminated needle/syringe could introduce a dangerous infection to your horse.

✅ Make sure that you are about to administer:
- The correct drug
- The correct amount of drug (correct dose)
- The correct route (definitely supposed to be given IM)
- That you are giving it at the correct time of day
- To the correct horse

✅ Site of injection:
The Neck -> Cervical Ventral Serratus M
Buttock/Hamstrings —> Semitendinsous M
Chest/Breast —> Pectoral/Biceps Brachii M
Croup/Rump —> Gluteus M

✨Horses are remarkably strong and adaptable creatures. However, they are highly susceptible to lameness
Lameness can vary from “Mild” to “Severe”, from “Transient” to “Permanent” and “Acute” and “Chronic”
✅ Almost every horse will experience some kind of lameness during its lifetime.
✅ A lame horse usually go under the term “Unsound”
✅ Since a “sound” horse is one that is not lame.
✅Vet use a grading scale to describe various degrees of lameness. Most use a scale from 0 to 5, with 0 being sound and 5 being non-weight bearing on a limb.
✅Additional terms used to categorize lameness are acute and chronic. Acute refers to lameness that came on recently and often suddenly while chronic refers to an ongoing lameness that the horse has had for a longer period of time.
✨In This case the Degree of the horse lameness is “3” -> Lameness is consistently Visible at a trot under all circumstances
✅ X-Ray shows OCD
✅ Intra articular injection in the Coffin Joint was preformed.
✅ Horse was under general Sedatives & Digital nerve block
