Pitbull is a term that encompasses multiple breeds of dogs, all of which share similar physical characteristics. It is a common misconception that all pitbulls are aggressive or have behavioral issues. Many canines that fall within this category are MASSIVE LOVEBUGS!

Over the years pit bulls have had an excess of negative media attention, spreading the misconception about their nature. Help us change this!

Giddy up folks, it’s Animal Welfare Week! 🤠

This week the focus is on the humane treatment of all animals. There are so many ways to stand up for their rights, the simplest being spreading a message of respect on their behalf.

There are still many people who think of animals as lesser beings, when really they are just different. Honestly, they are different in the best ways too! So let others know it, don’t be shy if you see someone chasing geese, or getting too close to an elk for a photo. Be the change you wish to see!

It’s spooky season and we can’t be more excited to see all the festive decor around our clients homes and while out walking. Valor and Virgil here want to remind you to only point out our pet safe decorations, or at least make sure they are inaccessible to your furry friends. We wouldn’t want any Halloween mischief to result in a serious illness or injury!

Check your spooky stuff for things your pet could be tangled in, choke on, or make themselves sick with, and happy haunting 👻

Yesterday was World Rabies Day, and since three is the magic number, here are three facts about rabies presented by three of our best friends, Franklin, Georgia and Emery ❤️❤️❤️

1: In 99% of human rabies cases, it was caused by a dog

2: The main victims of rabies are between 5 and 14 years old

3: Rabies is present on all continents but one, and once clinical symptoms appear, it is virtually 100% fatal

It sounds serious, because it is. Don’t skip this one!

Happy What a Pet Wednesday 4D friends! Here we have Kevin 😄

Kevin is a cautious boy but once he realizes that you are there to play with him and take care of him, he becomes your best friend. He gives amazing snuggles then gets evening zoomies and makes his sitter laugh and laugh!

Your arm better be in shape because you will be required to throw this crazy boy’s toys for hours on end some times!! We love you Kevin!
