Now this is interesting.

So, at our previous home, when Amos wanted to go out on the lanai he would sit there and stare at the door handle. He would even stand on his hind legs and try to pull the door handle down.

So he's doing the same thing here, almost, wanting to go into our bedroom, and lay on our bed.

But, notice that the door handle is on the opposite side of the door, ie. the door handle is on the left and he is starting up at the place where the door handle should be, in his mind.

Why? The door to the lanai at the previous house opened inward with the handle at the right, So, he's at the right despite the fact that the handle is on the left.

A couple nights ago Bonnie and I were working on something in the kitchen area, and then we heard a lot of racket: sounded like metal, maybe glass, or both rattling around...a LOT. Could barely get out "What the heck..." and Amos came running through the family room, did a quick left turn at the dining room, and around the table, at about 120mph. Closely behind was a sack of glass stuff, crashing and breaking as he went past the side of the dining cable.

Left in his wake was some broken glass, and remnants of a small shopping bag...one of those that have the twine handle.

His curiosity required him to stick his head through that handle to investigate the contents, then the bag attacked him, and he was off to the races.

He hid under the bed in master bedroom 2 for about an hour. The picture is after he finally came out.

Well, I got the sound bar to check out. I have a large mess while unboxing, and Amos quickly took up residence.

Amos and Annie have been going for a drive with is lately during realty house showings.

The second day we went to our daughter's house where they had to deal with a herd of cats, a pack of dogs and one rat fink, and worst of all, our son-in-law. They were frazzled when we got home.

Well, Annie is rebelling!

I posted earlier about Annie was hoping to miss her high spot in the comfy red 'cat bed'when we put up the Christmas decorations. Since that disappeared, she has abandoned hey spot on my lap.

Is that significant? Well, for the past few weeks she has been on my lap at every opportunity that pops up, demanding I scratch her in front of her tail. Now, just a couple times, she almost got in my lap, but she stepped on. One foot down from the end table, paused, started at my lap for 10 seconds, then got down.

Last night she got behind the breakfast bench, up on the window sill, and laid there. Only reason we knew where she was is because Bonnie saw her get there. Otherwise we'd never have known where she was.

This morning when Bonnie first walked into the kitchen, Annie was sprawled out on the island in the kitchen. Annie knows she is not to be up there. She didn't even immediately jump down. Bonnie had to get the noise making news paper and get after her. Right now she is out on the Lanai, up on the top of the grill.

She's giving us what for.
