I am Brenden! A reptile enthusiast out of Tucson. I been working with Reptiles for years now and I decided to launch this service to help out and give back to the community here.
I notice a large amount of people taking in reptiles solely to "flip" them and that has bothered me enough to do this. It's already hard enough to rehome a beloved animal. You don't want that animal going to somebody who can't care for it.
That is why I am providing my rehoming service. If you have a reptile you're looking to rehome but you don't have the time to look for the "right" person for it, that is where I come in. I will do the work, all you have to do is contact me.
Why do I do this? Primarily because I love working with various animals. I have an education channel on YouTube focused on reptiles and doing this allows me to take in species I might not keep myself and show people on camera how to take care of them. It's great for experience and great for education.

ANIMALS I TAKE:
-Most geckos (depends on size of gecko/species)
-Most smaller amphibians
-Most inverts
-Most smaller lizards
-Most common snake species (depends on size of snake)
-Feel free to ask me in messages if I take an animal or not.

ANIMALS I DO NOT TAKE:
-Chameleons, iguanas
-Bearded Dragons or other medium lizards
-Tegus or other large lizards
-Most tortoises
-Nothing aquatic or semi-aquatic (with exceptions)
-Venomous or dangerous reptiles
-Dying or severely injured animals. I am NOT qualified for vet care.
Exceptions can be made, based on situation. I am not an expert and I will not take in animals I do not have experience or basic understanding keeping. Meaning, if you have a specialty animal please take this animal to a licensed animal rescue. Thank you.

WHAT DO I DO ONCE YOU DROP OFF YOUR ANIMAL?
-Check animal for mites, parasites, health issues
-Give the animal a bath, cleaning, if necessary.
-Feed the animal, hydrate it
-Get the animal to a healthy size and good condition
-Proceed to find animal new home

☼ Do note that while it is free to drop your animal off with me, I reserve the right to refuse. I am a person, not a shelter. Meaning for whatever reason, I may not be able to take your animal in. Please communicate with me prior to scheduling a drop off. I do not do pick-ups, unless talked about in advance ☼
☼ I do charge rehoming fees to those who wish to adopt animals from me. This is to protect the animal from flippers, who take free animals and sell these animals for full price. For example, if somebody gets a Pied Ball Python for free, a flipper will sell that animal for $500 to make essentially, $500 profit. While it is free for you to leave your animal with me, it is NOT free for me to care for it. So I do ask a rehoming fee for my time and money spent. I am doing this because I love reptiles and because there is a need for it, not for profit. Thank you for understanding. ☼
☼ I do have an educational YT channel and I may show the animal dropped off to me in a video. I will never give out any personal information and if the animal is in bad shape, you will never be judged for that! Keeping an animal can be challenging and I completely understand that mistakes do happen! ☼
