Hi my name is Mitch. My family and I love the reptile species Gekkonidae this was first introduced to me by my brother. we simply changed her name to Donut.

I didn’t think much of it at first, However as I got to see the Geckos hatch and grow I gave in. I let my daughters get their first reptilian pet. We named it* Donut Dude, its parents were Dunkin and Pumpkin it seemed to fit. Little did we know Donut dude turned out to be a dudette. After acquiring two more crested geckos who if I am being honest probably wouldn’t have lasted a year more with the

current owner. We named the boy Olivander due to his Olive color. The girl was named Coolwhip for her curious white spot on her side. I made sure both were healthy,(Weighing and looking for signs of MBD etc…) I put them all together in a 40 Gallon Breeding tank once they were ready. within a couple months for the first time Donut laid eggs and could you believe it! they were fertile… Such a happy moment. we are all excited to see our first clutch hatch and become a new generation. We now are growing our Collection and are currently waiting on Several Gargoyle Gecko Eggs to be laid. We have Mourning Geckos as well. They just seem fun to have.

Early this morning we hatched two adorable little geckos this is Oliver X Donuts first clutch of the season and donuts first ever. Cute little babies finally!

Our girl Donut laid her second fertile clutch last night I hadn’t seen her all day checked the hiss and she must have worked really hard she slept through the whole extraction.

Did you know...

Unlike many other frogs, Solomon Island Leaf Frogs undergo what is known as direct development. Which means, instead of laying eggs in water and undergoing metamorphosis in water, the eggs have an increased amount of yolk and the entire development process from one cell to baby frog takes place within the egg.

A rare sighting of our tiger legged monkey tree frog! I assumed he’s out for a snack so I gave him a healthy does of fruit flies! 🪰🪰🪰
