A wrap of the Monto show, we had a great wknd a tad busy but definitely worth it. LJ Droughtmasters presented some cattle in the prime section, we had a nice pen of brangus heifers to put in aswell, we were lucky enough to pick up a 🥈 with the brangus in the pen of 3 unrestricted feeding milt tooth and a 🥉 in the same class with the droughties, a very impressive young heifer in our eyes got 🥇 place in the single heifer unrestricted feeding under 350kgs, a big thanks to the show society for a great show and a massive thanks to Gavin and Wendy Streeter for the time and effort they put into the prime cattle section great job once again.

This weekend LJ Droughtmasters decided to do something different and put a few heifers up on display at the Monto show we were lucky and came away with a 3rd in the under 350 kg replacement heifer class. Which was a very tough class with some beautiful heifers on show. A big congratulations to the Monto Show Society for a great show with a lot on offer, a big thanks to Gavin and Wendy Streeter you guys have done a great job.

Two registered D5 polled Droughtmaster bulls both will be semen tested prior, out of good quality stud cows by scrubby mountain 394, 1 bull is 23months the and other 19 months

It’s great to see calves hitting the ground especially when they are the first drop from the new bull Cairo Chumlee, also the first calf out of a heifer we purchased last year
