We saved Rubiks life after he was struck by a car. But because he isn’t a ‘Labrador’ this amazing dog isn’t getting the attention he deserves. Please SHARE to help us find Rubiks forever family ♥️
Meet BANDIT
2.5 yo 53 lbs high energy black lab
Bandit is smart and respectful. He listens very well and has excellent leash manners. He was well trained with a ton of commands. *professionally trained by Applause Your Paws (Magic City K9) He’s playful and generally wants his human close by.
As a high energy dog he needs some positive outlet for his energy every day. Some combination of tricks, fetch, swimming, etc. plus at least a mile of walking each day. He really loves the water and uses the kiddie pool here regularly.
He needs an experienced handler when around dogs or kids. Bandit will be a normal dog & great pet with some help and patience. He can be fast & intense but he’s not large or strong. He’ can be nervous around busy streets and sometimes a little jumpy from loud noises.
Sometimes adopting is a way to find the perfect match for you. Other times it’s about helping a dog that needs it. This is the latter. Bandit has made great progress but will continue to need a strong owner that has time, love and patience for him.

Fostered in Port St. Lucie, FL
Solomon's first beach day!
Mila, our MegaEspophogus girl. Wow, Mila's fosters are doing an amazing job! Tweaks in her meds and food regime have curbed her regurgitation significantly. Mila had her 2 week follow up with Dr. Oppenheimer at VSH - Veterinary Specialty Hospital Palm Beach Gardens yesterday - he was quite pleased! Mila hasn't gained any weight - but she is more energetic and active - so we will take that trade! This week brings a few more nutritional tweaks, more calories for some weight gain.
Archie & Shadow
Archie and Shadow are about 5 months old and just adorable. They are very friendly and are house broken (bark to go outside). They play very nicely with toys, aren’t bothered by noises and no aggression at all. They have great temperaments.
The boys don’t need to be kept together – just would like another dog in the household
Mila update: Megaesophagus is such a cruel disease. Treatment of megaesophagus depends upon the underlying cause, all Mila's testing for underlying causes came back negative. So, today Mila is headed to Southeast Veterinary Neurology to meet with the specialists. Please send good vibes Mila's way!
