Meet BANDIT

2.5 yo 53 lbs high energy black lab

Bandit is smart and respectful. He listens very well and has excellent leash manners. He was well trained with a ton of commands. He’s playful and generally wants his human close by.

As a high energy dog he needs some positive outlet for his energy every day. Some combination of tricks, fetch, swimming, etc. plus at least a mile of walking each day. He really loves the water and uses the kiddie pool here regularly.

He needs an experienced handler when around dogs or kids. Bandit will be a normal dog & great pet with some help and patience. He can be fast & intense but he’s not large or strong. He’ can be nervous around busy streets and sometimes a little jumpy from loud noises.

Sometimes adopting is a way to find the perfect match for you. Other times it’s about helping a dog that needs it. This is the latter. Bandit has made great progress but will continue to need a strong owner that has time, love and patience for him.

Meet Eva:
Eva is a 1 year old yellow female. She has typical Lab puppy energy. She is a fast learner and she loves to work. Eva is crate trained and she’s getting better every day on the leash.

She is great with other dogs and the resident 3yr old child, so she has small child history. She is curious and nosy about everything! Please contact your adoption counselor, or apply at lrrof.org

Broken hearted we share that foster ‘Big Jeb’ has crossed the rainbow bridge. Rescued from PBCACC, Big Jeb was 10 (best guess) HW+ and quite arthritic. This week Jeb had been showing certain signs, and this morning he was unable to walk. With a litany of health issues the vets suggested the quality of life route and that we gently help him cross. A huge heartfelt thank you to Lilah, he devoted Foster. There is solice is knowing Jeb had several great months knowing much love.

Happy Senior Sunday! Did you know adopting a senior is like fast-forwarding to the best part? Meet adorable Neiman and Marcus, whose adoption fees have been sponsored by a generous donor.

Neiman & Marcus are the sweetest boys imaginable: Neiman, a 7-year old chocolate and Marcus, a 10-year young yellow, are a bonded pair. They found themselves in the foster care of LRRoF after their owner passed away. Marcus loves to pass the time just lounging around! He gets along with his foster brother and sisters and enjoys the occasional house guest🐾🐾. Marcus is not a huge fan of the pool but will go in to cool off. Neiman loves to play ball and loves to swim. Neiman gets along with his foster brother and sisters and tolerates the occasional house guest. They both ride well in the car and love walks although Neiman tends to pull a bit 🙂. Come meet these sweet, bonded boys in Vero Beach!

We have a great adoption tail! Miss Faith came to us on Sept 3 after a desperate plea from Broward County Animal Control. Faith had been hit by a car; her diaphragm was perforated and her leg was severely broken. We are happily surprised that Faith's leg was not only saved, but this resilient young girl isn't phased in the least!!! A HUGE thank you do Dr. Kevin Frame at BluePearl Pet Hospital (Fort Lauderdale) for saving Faith's leg and the whole BP team for amazing care. Happy ever after for new Mom & Dad, Andrew & Lauren!

Meet LUKE

Hi!-My name is Luke! I am a 5 year old black male 69 lb. Lab with lots of personality. I love to play catch (toys, balls, frisbees) and I'm looking for someone to take me on walks, play, and be my friend. I am just a big goofball that enjoys back scratches.

I do enjoy chasing the occasional squirrel or rabbit in the backyard and am a little too interested in cats. (I ignore ducks). I am great around people and never bark at anyone (lawn men, garbage trucks etc-even when I see the neighbors outside - I just watch them).
But I am vocal when I want something, so you know it is important if I bark.

I just can't wait to find the perfect someone or family to adopt me. I am being fostered in Cooper City if you would like to meet up! Please contact your Adoption Counselor or apply at lrrof.org
