Meet Autumn, a beautiful 2-year-old Cane Corso with a gentle heart. While she can be a bit shy at first, Autumn’s sweet and well-behaved nature shines through once she feels comfortable. She’s best suited for a home with older children who can respect her need for a calm environment. She was polite but aloof meeting new dogs at the shelter, so bring your pups in to see if they are best buds. Cliff is an 8-year-old Cane Corso, and as a senior aged pup he really deserves to spend the rest of his life being spoiled and treasured, in a home full of love on this !

With us in the midst of summer, we want to make sure your pets are safe! Some things to remember are:

☑️ Know the symptoms of overheating in pets, which include excessive panting, difficulty breathing, increased heart rate, drooling, seizures, bloody stool, and vomiting, to name a few

☑️ NEVER leave your animals alone in a parked vehicle (Even with the window cracked! Studies have found that cracking the window has very little effect on the temp inside the car.)

☑️ Educate your family and friends about the risks of leaving their pets in the car so they can keep their animals safe as well!

Hi there!
I'm Calypso, a 12 years young, neutered, Orange Tabby. I came to Safe Place via another shelter when my owner passed away. I was really scared at first, but the patient folks at Safe Place gave me lots of time and a quiet place to adjust. I've become a staff favorite with my sweet personality. Now I'm happy and ready for a new home! I'm very affectionate and I've been around other cats but not dogs. I would do best in a low activity home with maybe just one other cat pal.

❤️ My $100 adoption donation includes Rabies and FVRCP, a microchip, FeLV/FIV test which was negative, a recent vet exam, AND a full dental including cleaning and 4 tooth extractions. Come meet me!
