We hiked for hours in the dry cold Northwestern Colorado wilderness yesterday. This got me thinking about meat and humanity's relationship to it, at least Western civilisation's... Most people eat meat, but most don't consider the cost or the impact. If you ask children where meat comes from they will tell you the grocery store or McDonald's imagining Styrofoam and plastic encased slabs, or paper packaged bags of food handed through the car window. What better way to extend your harvest than to do some garden multiplication (my kind of math). Certain plants are easy to clone from cuttings. It is a good use of the trimmings from spring and early summer pruning. Starting a new garden takes time and can be expensive. I have only recently been playing around with cloning plants, but wish I had learned of it sooner! [ 896 more words ]

I wrote before on how to start a garden for cheap. Now I will show you an easy method that will get you gardening quickly with a modest price tag on a few supplies and some DIY spirit.
