Being a breeder is 1 of the hardest things ever emotionally and physically. Everyone always says breeders are so lucky u get to snuggle kittens all day u dont have to do much. They are living animals u have to monitor them so closely make sure everyone is perfect and no issues. U have to make sure everyone is eating, drinking, rotate everyone nursing, watch for solid stools, socialize, check weights and make sure they are growing properly and make sure everyone is active. You have to monitor the moms check ni***es for infection, temperatures, make sure they are getting a appropriate amount of calories, eating and drinking, not laying on kittens , the kittens are nursing the right amounts. There's so much more this is just a few things. Yes kitten snuggles are wonderful and puts a smile on ur face and gives u so much love but I promise it's not easy. As we do all of this we are not eating, drinking, sleeping or able to even get out to do anything. We still learn daily we never know everything. It's something I will forever cherish and cherish fellow breeders. 💖
