The classes are $90.00 for the 6 classes. Payment must be done by first class. RSVP is required, these are small groups.

Puppy training and socialization – 6 months and under: Jan 9,16, 23, Feb 13, 20, 27. 5pm.
Basic training – 6 months and up: Jan 10,17, 24, Feb 14, 21, 28. 5pm
Leash training: Jan 11,18, Feb 15, 22, Mar 21, 28. 5pm.

Meet Scooby! Scooby has been at the shelter since February and has been patiently waiting for a new home! He is good with kids, other dogs and loves to play fetch. Scooby really needed some work with leash manners and has spent the past two weeks at The Southern Dog - In Home Obedience Training learning new things. He now walks on a leash without pulling, knows "come, sit, place" and is working on "stay." Scooby's adoption fee is SPONSORED so there is no cost to add him to your family! Please meet the rescues and Service pups in training. All have passed their basics, current on shots and are neutered.  The rescues are no cost, donation only. We have two service pups discounted for military or autistic children, both are ready for the bonding portion of their training. We have one open market service dog that is full price and ready for bonding in home with a forever family. Contact Trina at 928-259-8208 via text or call if interested.

A lot is going on at The Southern Dog - In Home Obedience Training. First we’re hiring for a dog walker. 6 days a week, early am or pm. 3 hours a day. Interviews are tomorrow. Also, our fall leash socials, swim classes and play days resume next week. We are almost full. Text or call for information 928-259-8208. Today we took 3 of our service dog trainees to Tractor Supply and one aced it and the newer trainees did a very acceptable job. Proud of all three! This first video is Odin the Northern Inuit Dog waiting in place for a minute without owners present.
