A bittersweet moment 💕

I’ve just delivered Basil to his new family. We’ve met half way between our home and theirs and now he’s on his way back to his new home.

We want to thank everyone who liked, shared and helped us find Basil’s perfect family. We feel that he is headed to his absolute ideal home where he will be spoilt and loved as he should be.

Sometimes it just takes time to find the right home and we are glad we found Basil’s new family.

I’ll post some updates of his littermates in coming weeks.

🐾 Beautiful Basil 🐾

This handsome fellow is still looking for a perfect match to be his forever.

He is a gentle boy who loves people and other dogs. He enjoys our company but is also happy to do his own thing outside for short periods of time. He has a very soft side, especially around people. He plays well with our other dogs but does like to be boss around younger or smaller dogs.
He is very smart and learns well in training sessions.
He does have a tendency to bark a little bit, especially at things which are a little strange to him.
We are seeking a specific home for Basil and will need you to fill in an application form to ensure you are a good fit for him.

Basil will come:
- Fully vaccinated (full puppy course)
- Up to date on worming and flea/tick treated before leaving
- Toilet trained
- Crate trained and sleeping inside overnight
- with four weeks free pet insurance
- with MDBA papers
- with a puppy pack including treats, toys and some freebies from Royal Canin

Our Dynamic Duo!

These two boys are the last of their litter. Can you help them find their way?

Basil (Blue Tri) & Winston (Sable)

💙 Winston is who we describe as your all-round great puppy. He is cuddly and affectionate, friendly, playful and loves people and dogs. He's not overly demanding and is happy to go with the flow. We would like to see Winston in a family who has someone home most of the time (as he loves people so much) or at least a doggy companion to ensure he has company. He will still require the same mental and physical stimulation as any other border collie but genuinely thrives on human company.

💙 Basil is an outgoing, playful puppy. He wasn't the most dominant of the litter but he certainly knows how to get your attention. He does play bark at times and he's active and intelligent and engages well when training. We'd like to see Basil also go to a home with regular companionship in the form of another dog and/or people.

Neither of these boys are suited to being left alone all day, hence why we are looking for specific homes for them.

For those interested, the boys:
🐾 Are up to date with vaccinations (x2), worming and fleas. They will also leave with a Simparica on board to cover them for ticks.
🐾 Have begun basic training including manners and recall and human focus.
🐾 Have solid toilet training foundations and prefer to toilet outside when possible.
🐾 Begin crate training this week
🐾 Come with a puppy pack (think toys and treats) and various documents to support their new families as well as a free bag of Royal Canin dry food and discounts on future purchases.
🐾 Come with an adaptil collar to help them transition into their new families with ease.
🐾 Have 4 weeks complimentary pet insurance available for those families wishing to cover them in the first few weeks in their new home.
🐾 Will come with Pedigree papers from the MDBA
🐾 Can travel by air to anywhere in Australia.

Hugo is on his way to Brisbane today ✈️

He’s moving to acreage with livestock to play with if he wants, another border collie AND gets to also live the good life inside when not at the farm. This is the perfect combination for this active, busy boy.

***Bentley, now Bailey has left for his forever home. He's next in line to manage a golf course once he learns from the current golf course mascot. We can't wait to follow his adventures***

Introducing Bentley!

This little guy is a firecracker 🎇
He is smart, engaged and willing to learn. He loves company (people and dogs) and would do best with something similar in his new home. He would excel at a dog sport too, something to keep his mind active.
He does have slightly softer side as well, enjoying cuddles and playtime.

Introducing Winston!

Winston is friendly and playful puppy. He loves to cuddle and would prefer to sit in my lap than take treats during training. He is smart and affectionate. He isn't the most pushy of the litter and is happy to sit back a little. He is a beautiful boy and would make a great addition to the right family.

This sweet girl is now Missy.

She flew all the way to Brisbane today and has settled in like the superstar we knew she would be!

All going well, she will hopefully one day carry on the Wattleview genes for her new mum ☺️

This girl took a piece of my heart with her, but she is destined to be loved by a little human where she is now. We hope that she brings her new family many years of love and fun.

🌸 Harper 🌸

This beautiful girl has commenced a stay & train experience with friends (and owners of a Wattleview Border Collie).

She’s going to start working on her manners and life skills whilst she waits for her forever 🏡.

She is up to date with all vet work, toilet trained for her age and looking for lifelong companionship.

Our beautiful Roo, doing great things with her mum.

Soooooo proud of our circus dog here!
She's a naturally cautious dog and 6 months ago didn't want to even put one paw on the jump boxes. Now she's climbing all over them! The skill we're teaching isn't important, what is is that she's becoming more comfortable with trying new things.
