Several have asked to see the video of Robert & Ryder’s freestyle performance. Couple small glitches, but was great overall & landed them 1st place! Thanks to Amy Lester Dickerson for the great video. Thanks again to everyone who helped set up all the props & take everything down. Couldn’t have done it without you. Well I finally have gotten around to working on trailer loading. I am so pleased with how well it has gone . This is the second time to work on loading.
Well it’s been a while since we posted anything about Ryder . This is the 7th time I’ve Been on him. I’m in no hurry to push him because is still trying to find his feet . He is such a calm, relaxed and trainable horse that I can’t help but enjoy every session with him.
Ryder has decided a tarp is no big deal.
So just 14 days from the wild and we are already at the point of being saddled in a calm , quiet , receptive manor. I am so proud of this horse.
This Ryder’s 1st Tyne to see a saddle. I am so pleased with how well he accepts new things.
Today I introduced Ryder to a saddle pad and his first saddle.
Ryders first bath since being home.
Day 5 Ryder is beginning to really bind with Robert.
Ryder is from Little Colorado, Wyoming. So far, she doesn’t seem to spook very bad. A plus!
Long time coming (it seems like), but Robert finally got the “join up” that he’s been looking for with Star!! This was without a halter on. I’ve even been able to pet her in the pen without a halter, which is a really big step for me. Bottom line, progress continues!
Don’t forget! You can adopt Star through the Bureau of Land Management for only $125.
