Atlas was definitely enjoying our one on one time today.
One of the best things about how house call grooming is it makes for a happier furbaby. It's not loud with unknown dogs barking and other people talking/ shouting in public salons. It is just me being able to sweet talk and pamper your baby in the comfort of your home where they are most familiar.

IF YOU ARE A NEW CLIENT

Before setting up an appointment for me to come groom your baby, please inform me of any of these important details about your baby:

Medical History:

You, the dog owner, must advise me of any medical, physical, emotional issues, bite/aggression history, allergies, sensitivities or preexisting conditions. These may include food or shampoo allergies, prior surgeries, heart issues, hip or joint issues, seizures, stroke, dementia or senility, warts, moles, skin tags, and other skin conditions or ear infections.

For my part, I will alert you to any issues I may discover over the course of grooming, especially those that may require vet attention.

Pets Behavior:

If your dog has behavior issues that includes a bite/ aggression history I must be made aware of them before the appointment is booked. This is for both for my safety and your pet’s. If I arrive at your home and the dog cannot be groomed a minimum fee of $65 fee will apply. If a bite/aggression history is not made known at the time of booking the appointment and your pet causes an injury to me that requires urgent care or hospital stay, the whole cost of any treatment and rehabilitation received due to the injury will be paid by you, the owner of the pet. I do not groom aggressive dogs. If your pet is uncomfortable with a specific part of their body or of the grooming process which causes them to nip or bite please inform me beforehand so I can plan ahead for any potential aggressive behavior and avoid injury. If behavior is presented that makes the grooming process difficult/longer a special handling fee will apply.

If your pet at any point of the grooming process becomes unsafe for them or myself the appointment will be terminated and charged for the time spent with the dog.

I will not perform any grooming procedure that causes pain or a level of stress that is excessive. This may include nail trimming in some situations.

Senior pets will be groomed for cleanliness and comfort.

The Dapper Doggo reserves the right to refuse service at our discretion.

What are the benefits of house call pet grooming you ask?

House call pet grooming is a type of mobile pet grooming. It’s a luxury service offering pet grooming performed by a professional groomer who comes with their own equipment and tools into your household to groom your dog in the comfort of your house.

We bring every piece of equipment needed to provide a top-quality grooming service, including a table set up in a convenient area and bathing your canine companion in the sink or bathtub, depending on your pet's size. We also clean up after the groom.

1. Stress-Free Environment – for some dogs, going into a salon can be very stressful. It can be from getting in or out of the car, having to wait in a crate or being surrounded by loud noises.

2. Much Safer – Elderly dogs usually require extra care during their grooming process. House call pet grooming permits you to control the grooming environment. They won’t be surrounded by unfamiliar animals and there is no chance of them acquiring some form of disease from other pets. Best of all, their stress levels stay low since they are being groomed in a familiar environment they are comfortable with.

3. Working with the same groomer – house call grooming enables you and your dog to have a personal experience with the groomer. There are no closed doors to prevent you from watching what happens during your dog’s grooming appointment. Of course, the groomer may require that you give them some space so that they can work in a safe environment with your dog. They want to prevent the animals from injuring themselves on the grooming tools when they are moving around in excitement from seeing their owners.

4. Convenient for owners with no transportation of their own or if it is difficult for owners to leave their home due to any kind of disability.
