Tilly is approx five years old and 7 lbs. She came from a home where her owner passed away and left her and a few of her siblings. The house was not the best and the poor dogs were covered in fleas and had hair loss from it. Tilly has been all treated and her hair is coming back now. She loves treats and toys. She does fine with other dogs. Tilly came from a home with kids so she is used to them. She also rides fine in a car. She would do best in a home with a fenced yard. She's not great on leash and likes to potty in a fenced area. Tilly deserves a wonderful loving home where she will be treated like the princess she is. Apply at bcaaofnj.org

Cherub is a very sweet and submissive puppy who is looking for her forever home! At just 4 months old, she is already large and she will grow into a big girl when she is a full grown adult. She will require a family who has the time and energy to train her. She will be a great companion for another dog in the home who can teach her how to be a good girl. This is Mocha she is 7 years old!
She has ended up at the shelter due to no fault of her own. Her mother passed away suddenly.

She is very sweet and knows some commands such as “sit” and “paw”.

Bella the patriotic pup! 🇺🇸

🥰 Bella girl here is one of our longest shelter residents! 7 years old, very loving and sweet- yet still has had trouble finding a home! 🏡

Bella would rather live with adults, enjoying a quiet life with lots of treats and belly rubs. 🤗 She definitely gets along with most dogs, so a canine companion would be a good fit for Bella! ✅

Dixie is a 4 year old bloodhound. She is a handsome girl and a little on the small side for a bloodhound.

Dixie is very sweet, mild-mannered & knows her name. She knows sit & give paw. She’ll come to you and lean against you for cuddles.

Although small for a bloodhound, Dixie can pull when out for a walk but she is manageable with a harness. Typical of a hound, her nose is usually to the ground when on walks!

Hi! My name is Deagan and I am looking for a forever home. I was picked up as a stray and taken to a really scary place called a shelter where, after my hold time was up, I was put on something really scary called "the list". Fortunately, BCAA heard about me right before something bad was going to happen to me and said they would help me ... yeah! I don't appear to have had an easy life as I do have some calluses on my legs where I was probably kept on concrete a lot, but that hasn't dampened my wanting to be loved and belong to a family. I am a smaller chocolate lab mix at 41lbs although my foster mom has been giving me lots of extra food and treats 'cause she says I needed to gain a couple of pounds when I first came into foster. At around 4years old I am past all of that puppy foolishness. I have gotten along with all of the other dogs I have met but have shown a little too much interest in the cats so it would probably be better for me to have a home without them. While I would much prefer to be out with you, I have done really well in my crate overnight without any accidents, barking or tearing up of my bedding. I love going for walks and I do pretty good on a leash as it means I get to be with you. I love my food and treats which I take gently.
