Please join us in welcoming our new camp counselor, Heather! 🎉

Camp Counselor Heather lives in Queensbury with her partner Eric and their two dogs. Rossi is a 5 year old Plott Hound- Terrier mix and Sonny is a 2 year old German Shepard mix. 🐾🐾

Heather has been taking care of dogs for over 20+ years. She started off first boarding friends dogs while they were away on vacation. She enjoyed that so much that she decided to start boarding through Rover.com. This experience has helped expand her knowledgecof dogs in their behaviors and learning skills.

She enjoys teaching dogs new “tricks” skills. It’s a very rewarding experience! She has worked with all ages and a variety of breeds. Enjoys learning from her colleagues and advancing her skills in training. Her main priority is your fur baby and making sure that they have the opportunity to grow, learn new skills while still being a dog! 🐶

Congratulations to Midnight for being our Camper of the Month! 🎉 Midnight has been doing a great job out on the trails with Zoey, and she is continually impressed! His recall is very strong, and he can always be trusted off leash no problem.

Midnight just wants to be where the excitement is! He’s always looking for good spots to sniff, watching for birds or squirrels, or seeing what his friends are doing. He is great at balancing his energy with taking breaks too and powering down for a moment. You gotta have water breaks (and pet breaks too)! We are very proud of Midnight, good job buddy 🐾💜

Meet our new Camp Counselor MaryEllen! 🤩

MaryEllen lives in Gansevoort, New York. While she doesn’t have pups of her own just yet, she treats her siblings’ dogs as if they were her own and spends much of her free time with them. MaryEllen has grown up around animals her whole life, and her love for dogs big and small shines through in everything she does.

MaryEllen brings a contagious, silly, and fun energy to her interactions with every pup, and she thrives on meeting dogs with all sorts of personalities and quirks. Whether they are bold and adventurous or shy and reserved, she has a knack for helping them feel at ease and enjoy the ride (and the hike!).

Passionate about making both dogs and their humans feel comfortable, loved, and well-informed, MaryEllen is dedicated to creating a safe and joyful environment for her packs. Energetic, attentive, and caring, she can’t wait to share many happy adventures with her campers!

We can’t wait to see you!! 🧡

🐾 9:30: Check in with Caitlin (neon orange hoodie)
🐾 9:45: Pack walk around park, fun training activity
🐾 10:30: Enjoy cider and cider donuts

Anyone who would like to stay, we are doing a park clean up. Trash/poop bags, gloves, hand sanitizer provided.

Please do NOT let your dogs greet each other. Give others space. Dogs must be leashed at all times.

RSVP required! Please text your camp counselor if you plan on coming.
