The olfactory bulb connects directly to emotional and memory areas of the brain, including the amygdala, frontal cortex and hippocampus.

This is why scent can trigger significant emotions and memories in dogs.

So, this is why I’m using scent detection alongside other things with Jax as part of his behaviour modification plan. 🖤
