In early September, I said goodbye to my wonderful Grandma.

Before heading to Bali, I visited her in Geraldton and we went on a small road trip to her home town and to look a wild flowers (an annual tradition as Grandma absolutely loves them, especially everlastings).

After 2 days of being in Bali, we were told the sudden news and told to prepare ourselves. My Aunty and I flew home that same night and drove back to Geraldton the following morning. I was lucky enough to get back to her to say goodbye and take care of her in those last moments. It truly was one of the hardest times of my life.

I reached out to Steph from .designco with an idea of creating an image of us overlooking the lookout we went to and of the flowers through the paddocks. I sent Steph photos from our drive and the lookout we last visited and she has managed to capture every detail beautifully. Every detail, including the colour of Grandma’s favourite jacket, is absolute perfection. This is something I will always treasure and I can’t thank Steph enough for bringing this idea to life.

Now we will always be together enjoying the wildflowers, the sunshine and each other ❤️
