I got to capture the moment today that I miss so much. Just Gnon and I out of the building and in front of one of our beautiful display coops. This has not happened in 15 years. So nice to start seeing the light at the end of the tunnel. Also these customers drove all the way down from Ohio to NC.

Look at this big, beautiful 6'x18' American Coop in Nevada. We shipped it out and the customer assembled and painted it. We love the blue and white! They also have a 80 lb silo feeder, automatic chicken run door by , and our poultry water system.

All this along with our deep litter beds, which mean no cleaning for at least a year or longer, makes for a fantastic set-it-and-forget-it system. Although we know our fans like to spend time with their chickens! We just make it so you can spend quality time spoiling your flock instead of doing the chores of chicken keeping.

We wanted to share this throwback photo from 2014 when Matt was on location in Texas building this custom Carolina Coop and Gnon had baby Jetta in a sling so she was hands free and could help out.

We’ve come a long way since then but we never forget the struggles, stresses, and sacrifices it took and still takes to get where we are today.

Here is an 8’x18’ Carolina Coop we recently installed in Atlanta, Georgia.

This coop has some customizations, such as double Dutch doors, and a feed hopper attached to the run.

The coop has board and batten siding and a fully functional cupola. It has three 8-foot roost bars, so we recommend 24 chickens maximum with free ranging.

There is also a concrete footing around the base of the coop. It’s not necessary but in this case it was used to make the ground level.

It also has our poultry water system that is hooked up to gutters. It’s a classic look with it painted white.

High density polyethylene inside the henhouse and 5-gang egg hutch. All our coops have our signature deep litter beds, so no cleaning for at least a year or longer.

We ship everywhere and install coop all over the US.

How darling is this California Coop we shipped to a customer in Simi Valley, California? (Yep, there’s a reason we called this small coop a California Coop)

We love this two tone paint job! They even had a concrete footer to make sure the coop sits level. That’s super important.

Our California coop is 4’x9’ overall with a 3’x4’ henhouse. It has one 4 foot roost bar so it’s good for up to 4 chickens with free ranging.

You can see this pretty Wyandotte enjoying some free ranging.

Even though it’s our smallest coop, it still has all the amazing features that makes our coops so popular, covered runs that you can walk into, premium lumber, metal roofing, polycarbonate windows, black PVC coated half inch hardware cloth, high density polyethylene lined henhouse, drop down egg hutch with removable dividers.

Plus our signature deep litter beds with a drop down clean out gate so no cleaning for at least a year or longer. All our coop are predator proof , have tons of ventilation, and are built to last!

She writes about her 6'x12' American Coop:
"We've had three 10-degree days in a row, but our coop is keeping the girls safe, and our heated water system is working perfectly!
The horizontal water bar doesn't even drip, so there's no chance of the hens getting splashed and freezing. Leave it to a Western NY team to know how to build solid coops for the winter!" 😃

Our coops can handle a big snow load too because they are built like a house, with 2x4s, rafters, and notched purlins plus they all have metal roofs so the snow will melt and slide off easier than on asphalt roofing.

So stay warm and dry my friends! Here's looking forward to spring.

Warmer temps and some much needed sunshine!

The girls are loving it and strutting their stuff.

Egg production is way up too! Spring will bring more bugs and greens for the flock to enjoy too.
