It's a boy! Need a name for this Lil Guy. He was number 69 at Forgotten Cats clinic. Too small for rabies vaccine so he'll have to get that later.

Miss Myrtle the mom was TNRd a month ago and her son was fixed, vaccinate, tested and adopted. This week she decided to bring the rest of the litter around. Someone had a spare appointment that I was able to use for the kitten I trapped today and will be fostering. It is $45 for fix, flea, vaccinations and $25 for FIV FeLV test. That's $70. Four total will have to be trapped and vetted. That's $280. If anyone would like to donatr

I trapped a new cat and kitten that showed up at the Junkyard about 4 days ago with a sprained ankle, using a drop trap, on my own today. The kitten will be fostered by Matt’s Cats / Feral TNR . My friend, Matt, had extra appointments at Paws for tomorrow that he told me about this morning so I got to trapping. The best timing ever. Kitten will be fixed, vaccinated, fostered and adult will be TNRd. Thanks so much Matt! 😘

Feeding the colony and a black cat showed up that usually doesn't eat in this one location. My cell phone that was seven years old broke last week and I had to get a new phone and I am totally loving my new phone. The first picture is how far I am away from this new cat without the zoom turned on. The second picture is how well I can see that the cat has an ea tip when I zoom in

Just got home from feeding The Junkyard Catz. Gave extra canned that I warmed on my heat vents ahead of time because temps are dropping overnight and tomorrow. Love them 😻💖

Food and water for The Junkyard Catz 3 jugs of warm water with sugar added to lower the freezing temperature from 32 to 26 container bowls in insulated Styrofoam. I also warm the can food on my heater vents. 😻💖love them

Still been feeding the cats daily. On week 3 of getting over the flu. Between that and working full time I haven't posted much. We will be below freezing for the next few days. To keep their water as long as possible from freezing. I use the coolers my injections for my MS come in monthly and I bought a solder iron to cut them down for plastic container that I bought from dollar tree yesterday to fit in. Last year I used a knife and Styrofoam was everywhere. I add some sugar to warm water as well since that also prevents the water from freezing. Last year this worked well. So should work for this year too.
