Please understand that we cannot guarantee the fertility of any eggs especially after postage.
We hatch regularly with an average of 75% fertility, usually producing a 50% of hatched chicks from the total eggs incubated.

Very happy 4 weeks & 1 week old Silkie & Gold Top chicks.

Hopefully we will be getting some eggs soon from this little group I’ve put together. My Partridge coloured pen.

Silkies & Gold tops

My newly hatched chicks are pleased with the new rearing shed set up. All supplied by Pukka Pens.

Fertility check at 7 days on another batch of Silkie eggs. Between 71-89 % fertility between the different coloured breeding pens.

They’re starting to pop out.

Lots of little Silkies on the way. After checking fertility, we have found that even eggs kept up to 21 days were still good. The older birds eggs are a lot more fertile, however last years birds have produced around 60% fertility in this early collection. Overall I’m very pleased, just looking forward to seeing how many will hatch.

First Batch of Silkie Eggs set today of 2022. Lots of last years birds so testing fertility, from individual coloured pens of black, gold, splash, partridge, white & lavender. 🤞🏻
