Hi there,

My name is Gerald, and I’m the only kitten in the cattery with my mummy, Georgia. My sister and brother were adopted two weeks ago, and since then, I haven’t had any other kittens to play with.

I’m very curious and adventurous, and although I’m shy around new people, I quickly forget that when they play with me using a toy wand. I’m a very accomplished toy wand player, jumping high to grab the feather and pulling the whole wand to the floor. I beat the wand every time!

Because I’m so busy, I don’t enjoy long cuddling sessions, but I will happily come and curl up on your lap or cuddle with you when I’ve had enough of playing.

I’m 14 weeks old, super healthy, and have tested negative for those two nasty viruses, FIV and FeLV. I’m also fully vaccinated. I will be neutered at six months of age when I’m hopefully with my perfect human family.

CAT FOOD DRIVE

For the holiday season, we’re hosting a Cat Food Drive to ensure every cat in our care has a meal. Along with over 130 cats and kittens at shelter, we have feral cat colonies that we look after to make sure they get the nutrition they need. Please help us make sure our cupboards are full for the season and into next year.

TEA BABIES LOOKING FOR HOMES

Now 11 weeks old, all our Tea babies want for their first Christmas is to find loving homes. 💜🐾
 Chai is the little Miss Muffet of the litter, with her gentle and curious nature.

Her sister, Tisane, the smallest in the litter, is adventurous and lightning-fast at batting the balls in the pyramid toy.
 Rooibos loves human cuddles and is the first to demand to be picked up.
 Oolong often plays and sleeps on his own and falls asleep while getting head scratches.
 Matcha and Assam are super active, a lovable bonded pair who are inseparable during play and at nap time.

MEET KLAUS: A SPECIAL GIRL LOOKING FOR HER FOREVER HOME

Klaus first appeared at an office park during the lockdown in 2020. She wasn’t quite like the other feral cats there—she was less fearful (although she did have her hissy moments) and clearly didn’t fit in with the other strays. It was obvious she was a stray, but she behaved like she had once known a home. She was named Klaus before it was discovered she was a girl. A trip to the vet confirmed her as a spayed female, cementing the belief that she had been someone’s pet at some point.

Despite efforts to find her previous owners through social media, no one claimed Klaus, so she made the office park her home. Over time, with lots of patience and love from one of our shelter directors, Klaus began to open up. She turned into a purring, affectionate kitty who would eagerly wait on the stairs for a friendly human to say hello.

Now, instead of sleeping in bushes, she enjoys the warmth and comfort of a cozy bed at shelter. She does have some allergies and requires special medication, so she can’t indulge in regular cat treats like others.

Klaus would do best as an only cat, as she has a bit of a grumpy side when it comes to other felines. But once she warms up to you, she’s a purring cutie with the most charming raspy meow. We weren’t too sure off her age when she first came to us, but the vet estimates her to now be around 7 or 8 years old.
